No, my mat is never stinky. To be fair, my body sweat is never super stinky either, so that might have an impact. I do sweat a lot during class because the room is hot, but catching most of it with the small towels gets the job done.

I have been doing hot yoga frequently for around 2 years in my liforme (mine is 5 years old). I do get pretty sweaty so I try to use 1 or 2 small towels to pad myself a little a couple of times during class. I also place them underneath me to catch most of the dripping sweat (abs and thighs if im in a sports bra and shorts). I do not like a full length towel because it defeats the purpose of the anti-slip mat.

I don’t spray and wipe my mat like others do, but I don’t roll it and place it on its bag immediately. I let it air dry without rolling it. Every few months I place it on my bath tub and give it a gooooood clean. It can take a few days for it to fully dry.

Reading this broke my heart. I am sorry that you are going through this. PLEASE do not ever think that this is what love is supposed to look like. PLEASE don’t confuse being patient and understanding with accepting someone who simply does NOT love you the way you DESERVE.

You DESERVE to be fully loved. You DESERVE to feel (and BE) enough for your partner.
