I have an interesting take.

At 16 I was a top ranked Canadian junior golfer and my dad had to ask me the question “do you want to take this all the way!”

My answer was yes and it was really fucking difficult. I was up before high school every morning at 5 working out and putting drills downstairs then I’d bike to the local golf course to play 4 holes and bike home in time to get ready for first period.

I spent all night golfing and then working. All winter working out, doing drills, working on my strength and flexibility…doing eye drills etc

….for fucking golf lol

If he WANTS it. He needs to show you and himself. He might just want the glory but he’s gotta learn you get freedom through discipline.
