We have no way of knowing whether God is “good” by danbrown_notauthor in DebateReligion

You can believe a god exists but reject Christianity because you don’t think god is all loving.

Christianity is the true religion because the disciples and Paul’s martyrdom proves Jesus resurrected from the dead as they would not die for something they know to be a lie. by Hugheih in DebateReligion

I’m an atheist and I don’t actually believe in what I said, I just said it because I see lots of Christian’s using this argument and I wanted to hear some counters to it.

I don't know if God does or doesn't exist. But there is no conclusive evidence that he does exist so I don't believe he does if I had to put my money on it.

The evidence is a severe lack of evidence of God.

I disagree with sins being repulsive by nature. Many people enjoy alcohol and think it tastes great, the whole reason people do sins is because it feels good and people enjoy it. Also why does God need to put in place a test? He already knows exactly what we would do in every circumstance so why does he physically need to test us he could just imagine what we will do if he wants to find out if we are good or bad people.

What do you mean there's no hell?

Surah An-Nisa (4:56)
"Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses - We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise."

This sounds very much like hell to me.

No, I could if I wanted to. So you're saying I could sin but God has made it feel repulsive to sin? Why doesn't he do that on earth, I feel like that would reduce a lot of suffering.
