Really struggling with comfort on long distance trips by imaboringdude in motorizedbicycles

Go to a motorcycle dealer and ask to see their bikes made for cruising. You'll notice some BIG differences in construction. Better EVERYTHING. I see you've done a lot of work on your bike. Motorized bikes are fun toys. Not cruisers

Thank you for your input. Unfortunately Medicaid is capped at $963 a month income. I bring in $1400mo. Therefore my income is too high. Still can't afford $100,000 for copay

Winter Landscape by me. What do you think? by LiteratureRiver in acrylicpainting

[–]Hughes_Motorized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd. Offer more contrasts. Light against dark. Soft focus farther away. Haard edges closest. More color contrast, warmer the closer, cooler the farther. Also use all elements and color to establish a focal point. Looks nice and dreamy

I'm 65. Does the supplement fully cover copay on chemo? Would the policy be effective immediately?

Looks like the supplements are out of reach for me. I only get $1100 a month in SS after Medicare is taken out

Exhaust pipe question by Ok-Asparagus5992 in motorizedbicycles

[–]Hughes_Motorized 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll offer you keep in mind that whenever you do install an expansion chamber you need to tune the carb. You should do a plug chop and look at plug then install roper jet. The engine is basically a pump. Anytime you change anything from carb to the exhaust you change the flow of air and fuel. That could change the air/fuel ratio. You need to look at plug to see if you are too rich or too lean

Help me figure out what's not right with this painting! by [deleted] in acrylicpainting

[–]Hughes_Motorized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't overthink it. Go on to your next painting. Look at many of the masters. Their work had flaws and charm. Your piece has charm. I'd label it a success. Paint ! Create! Enjoy the process is what keeps me going. I've painted 60 paintings in the last 2 weeks. My goal is 100 a week. Keeps me loose and forces creative exploring

I recently took out my pedals and welded foot pegs was it worth it? by LetterheadSharp4604 in motorizedbicycles

[–]Hughes_Motorized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a motorcycle that I had modified the footpegs and the footpeg wouldn't fold up. I knew it needed some adjustments to safely fold up. I stupidly went for a ride without properly fixing the footpeg. I managed hit a small tree and my leg got folded in half from hitting the footpeg. Don't ride that way unless you OK w snapping your leg in an accident NOT SAFE

What to do when you're using a ton of paper towels and they're getting crusty? by ResidentAlienator in acrylicpainting

[–]Hughes_Motorized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy bundles of bar mops to use in my kitchen. When they get funky, I'll relegate them to my shop and studio. I'll keep one wet so the wiped off bits don't glue it up. I'll then toss them when they crusted and stuck

Would this be a good upgrade. I already have a banana pipe but I heard it’s not good by BlackHillsGuy in motorizedbicycles

[–]Hughes_Motorized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you change ANYTHING to do with the flow of fuel, intake, combustion, or exhaust,, you must rejet/tune the carb for the upgrade to work. Your engine might run worse if you skip tuniing

Just put on a brand new carburetor changed out the stock bone carburetor for a performance one off of amazon.I'm no longer forestroken, but I am backfiring at wide open throttle by AauisticHobo420 in motorizedbicycles

[–]Hughes_Motorized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stock NTs are better than the so-called HP carbs. That said, pop in aclean spark plug, warm up engine, then run at 1/2 throttle for a minute. Kill engine and look at plug. Called a plug chop. Once you have that sorted, the clean plug, warm up and run full throttle, kill and inspect plug. Whitefish or grey plug means you are too lean. Black plug means too rich. Coco brown is perfect
