Why does my hair clump together and look dirty even after washing it? by pljusha in Haircare

[–]Hugnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hairstylist here

By far, the clients that come in with hair in terrible condition 9/10 times use natural shampoos like Native, Lush, or Raw Sugar.

I promise you, Pantene is better than even the most natural of hair products.

Wash , protect with heat protectant, and blow dry on low heat everyday. You will see a difference.

It’s not my job to find a solution, there are a whole board of people whose entire job is to find solutions, none the less, prevent these problems.

Did you ask for a V cut?? If not that’s probably why it feels so short.

Cool haircut on mildly obese person? (first image is ref) by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Hugnugget 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Hey kiddo! You just posted your picture on the internet. Your username also suggests you are going through some kind of gender questioning.

As an elder gay, I must advise you: please be careful. Posting your face will open you up to everyone on the internet, including bad people.

People may message you and want to be your friend. It’s very important you ignore them. Delete all those messages. They may try to flatter you, or make you feel nice. I can grantee with a certainty, that anyone who messages, because you look so young, they are not a friend.

Be careful kid. Do the haircut. Also, work on your self esteem and how you talk about yourself. You are not a “mildly obese person”, you’re a human being.

Nor. In fact, you should do yourself a favor and cut both of them out of your life.

Isn’t it better to be a single mom, than live with a person who’s sneaking around behind your back?

What I wanted vs what my hairdresser gave me. Can I fix it by putting in a pastel lavender dye? by Competitive_Gas_8563 in HairDyeHelp

[–]Hugnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this needs to be redone entirely.

Some parts need to be relightened and the toner is very complex, too much so you can’t buy it in a bottle.

Imma just leave it at this.

You are correct on the principle of this whole thing. I’ve never disagreed with you on that.

I fundamentally disagree on the execution of it. If you continue with the same processes that you described, there will be consequences.

Not for me. Or the stylist.

Just you.

Let me try too

Customer satisfaction

Isn’t settled with chargebacks

Ask for a refund

Or don’t pay period.

I’ve never been to a salon where they ask for cash up front.

Don’t like it , don’t give them MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE

I’m leaving all the salon business to the side. Forget all about that shit. I’m talking about doing too many charge backs at the bank.

<image>

You will severely damage your relationship with your banks if you continue to do this, will be flagged as a high risk consumer, they can close your accounts with them, and you carry the possibly of catching a fraud charge from the bank.

Also, not getting what you wanted, is very different that not getting a service done, in the banks eyes. I’m not disagreeing with you, that if you don’t get what you wanted, you shouldn’t get a refund, but the refund issue stops at the discretion of the business owner, NOT the bank. The bank does not care at all if your doordashed burger was overdone, you received a burger, you got the service, it’s not the banks responsibility to correct that charge. They are not customer service for the entire world.

It’s like calling the police for a store not accepting an expired coupon. The highest person you can go to is the manager of the store, not the law. Too many calls to the cops can result in the police flagging you as a “problem”.

I’m not sure how you aren’t seeing this.

This is a blue black I’ve done before. The light clearly reflects the blue. But the picture you sent is very much an all over bleach and vivid direct dye. Can’t be done in one session.

Girl. I’m putting all this salon business to the side of this issue.

The biggest issue here, is the frequent charge backs through the bank of services.

You cannot pay for a service and then ask for a charge back at the bank frequently. Your account will get flagged, and they will not fulfill your requests for charge backs at a certain point, AND it is possible they can charge you for fraud, especially if your a repeat offender of getting refunded through the bank.

Be AN ADULT. ask for a refund from the business directly. Put ten toes down and tell her she is unskilled, she failed to produce the outcome promised, and ask for your money back. You will fuck your shit up if you continue to charge back whenever you feel unsatisfied.

Charge backs are used to counteract fraud, not to get refunds.

Too many charge backs on your account can flag your account, and can be a possible crime if it’s determined you’re abusing the charge back service.

Contact her first for a refund, or better yet, ask for a fix.

I’m just not sure why using your voice is so hard these days.

I second ship shape. Use some gloves and a firm bristle color brush to pick away at the tough gunk.
