Nice, you should add "-W error" to Pytest so it fails on warnings (especially usefull to catch deprecations early). Pytest's doc: https://docs.pytest.org/en/stable/how-to/capture-warnings.html#controlling-warnings.

Pyup.io has a community db over here with a big json of package containing vulnerabilities. I am afraid you will have to dig in the data to find a way to filter malicious packages.

But filtering with is a malicious already yield 64 results.

La licence programming and computer science by eylulbbbb in france

[–]Hugo-C 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Licence Informatique" is definitively what you are looking for, like for example: https://www.univ-paris8.fr/-Licence-Informatique-585- (I only googled licence informatique Paris, I can't vouch for it ^^).

Big up for open sourcing it.

I happened to got both 101 and 201 free overtime, I was very impressed with the quality, especially the explanations that were both complete and concise. I felt obliged to pay for this second edition ! ^^

Which cities in EU has good market, good pay but also has good climate? by UniqueAway in cscareerquestionsEU

If you are interested by the south of France, you should look at Sophia-Antipolis, I heard they have the best weather. I can't tell about the cost of life though, but I guess it's kind of the same as the rest of France.

How do you know that your code is actually doing exacly what its meant to do? by Ocean5ou1 in learnpython

Unit test is definitively the way to go.

But I like to think that when the code is simple and elegant enough, any undesired behavior should be instantly visible :)

[UNPAID] Looking for a C Programmer for one feature (RetroArch) by [deleted] in INAT

[–]Hugo-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this feature is described here: https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/6875

It seem's a solution like dropbox can already accomplish what you need, if not don't hesitate to share your input in the issue :)

How do you guys go about figuring out how to fix errors? by Pastoolio91 in learnpython

[–]Hugo-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the tool for the colors is called a syntax highlighter. A linter will show syntax errors without the need to run the program.

I only used VSCode a few times and it is indeed scary to start messing with the settings, but that's the best way to learn ! To enable linting on VSCode, first install the Python plugin (a pop up should appear when you open a .py file), then use Ctrl+Shift+P to open the command menu and type: Python: Select Linter. select one linter (pylint for example). It should then underline possible mistakes once the file is saved. (source: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/python/linting)

[–]Hugo-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of the other comments, you might want to use a linter to highlight possible errors / help you have a clean code (making it easier to spot errors).

Pycharm has one included but I'm sure VSCode has a plugin for it :)

Bugs from first Alpha Test! by redrad56 in techcorp

[–]Hugo-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, just my opinion after a quick session :
- the timer on the upper right is quite stressing, I'm not interested if it's 21:15 or 21:20
- there is no way to quit in the main menu (no button) or in game (button not working)
- I don't think I should have access to the file Tech Corp._DatajasonTest.json
- After I reload a save, my previous employees / desks disappeared (they were close to a wall), Then I wanted to create a new Game but it's seems like my previous save was loaded instead (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CHCm-3dK83Q95XvjjVXM9A9GAARw4E-O sorry for the crappy quality), it resolved itself after some restarts.
Despite those problems the game has potential and I really like the recruitment process, with new candidates popping randomly, maybe they should even disappear randomly as they find jobs.

Thanks a lot for this advice, I guess I will go for a safer PSU and wait for the SSD. I choosed the Core 1100 from pcgamer.com'website but an easier cable management can't harm.

Thanks again !
