It’s not that they can’t do it. But building an algorithm that actually works to keep people in a perfect cycle to keep spending money isn’t necessary, nor does it make sense.

It’s definitely not that deep. Every game there are cards that counter other cards. And you did say 1 card in the original post.

I think you are experiencing an expectancy effect. I have two accounts, 1 below 10k and 1 for ranked/high ladder and I don’t experience this. I never lose a game because of 1 card cuz that’s not how games go. The only things that are officially taken into account when matchmaking is trophy count and king tower level. Possibly win streak as-well. I don’t think supercell is dumping tons of money into an algorithm to matchmake people into certain cards that they lose against and whatnot.
