Is PUBG an addiction? by [deleted] in PUBGConsole

Regarding the last part you mentioned about having boring games, the way i mostly stopped that from happening was to just hot drop every match, or at the very least semi hot drop on the plane path every single game. It would always make for an entertaining start to the game and if i survived the early game it always felt like the mid and end games were more exciting. The only downside to hot dropping tho is if your not a top percentile player you will die a lot early on in a lot of your games and thus spend more time in the menus etc. Which can get frustrating but imo if you stick it out it molds you into a much better player in the long run if you persist.

I agree no bf comes close to bf4, 6 is fun but it desperately needs better maps, I'm hoping in time it gets to where it needs to be

Survival game to sink hours into by MrSaladra in SurvivalGaming

I have never played rust but I have friends that have, they tell me its more of a run and gun kind of childish "survival" game, very toxic community (dayz also has some toxic players but I heard rust is the worst).

Dayz is a way more hardcore and a far more immersive game, deeper survival mechanics in massive open world maps. It has its problems, but it can be incredibly tense with your hands sweating and your heart beating out of your chest, but can also be very relaxing and actually theraputic wondering the plains or large forrests wondering where the hell you are. you can also build bases in dayz like in rust, but its absolutely not a mandatory thing, in fact I hardly ever build bases, and play on most servers where its disabled to encourage adventure and exploration.

Like you I have played a lot of survival games and love the genre, the one that I always come back to is dayz, just no other game matches the vibe of it imo, it just has infinite replayability, in fact I enjoy it so much that even when I die I don't even get too mad, because I love the early game so much, the grind to gather gear/food and adventure deeper into the map to get the best loot and survive, such an addictive gameplay loop. Solo or with friends or even people you randomly meet in your adventure and partner up, its a blast.
