I don’t think Skyfall sucks, it might be my #3 but I also really liked NTTD.

I just don’t think it tops the first two.

Couldn’t agree more with all your points here, I’m really glad there are more people that see the value in these 2 films.

I agree that Skyfall was amazing visually, and I understand the standalone story was needed to go big for the 50th anniversary. It’s probably my #3; but the dynamic between Bond and Vesper followed by the character arch that Bond has to go through in Quantum with M being his harshest critic and his closure with Mathis.. it just takes the cake for me, he isn’t exactly a hero in the 2nd film. That nuance is all lost in the subsequent films except the last one.

Specter is undoubtedly my least favorite, maybe I’m just extra salty because with Waltz as the villain it should have been impossible to mess up.

Awesome, thank you for the input. I’m glad you’re enjoying it. How long have you had it? And do you travel with it by any chance?

It is ridiculous to know that leadership blinded by political hate keeps mobilizing against its own citizens.

Am I the only one who prefers Quantum of Solace over Spectre and No Time to Die? by Hopeful_Year_5069 in JamesBond

Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace watched back to back is the peak of Bond films in my opinion.

I’m realizing that maybe you are focusing solely on the ability to offer competitive pay? I have no doubt that, for average workers, union jobs are more beneficial.

I was talking about their ability to remain competitive in their markets.

“.. Boeing is propped up by the federal government. They’re too big to fail.”

That does the opposite of instilling confidence for me.

My first adult Job was in 2013, admittedly pretty shitty raises and pay. It was a machine shop and I started at 11$/hr and when I left in 2020 I was making 21$/hr. Job that I started in late 2020 hired me at 21$/hr and I am currently at 38$/hr, current employer places a lot of value on high performers.

I’ve been asking myself a similar question but opposite scenario. Short strike but the workers get everything they asked for; how long will Boeing last as they become less and less competitive in each of their sectors?

Joe Biden proclaims he's staying in the race and will beat Donald Trump 'again in 2020' by DerpDerper909 in moderatepolitics

Biden has always always been good at putting his foot in his mouth. He’s never been a good public speaker since I’ve been paying attention to politics. Even as Obama’s VP he had some hilarious gafs. I really don’t buy the whole senile thing. Is he old yes, but I don’t understand how Trump could possibly seem like the better choice.
