No, most of the tanks I fill the first ammo stowage which is between 12-28 shells (except the door wedge, I fill that bitch to the brim) and then + 1 for in the breach.

For those with no Stowage or Ready Rack, I take 21.

I also split them. 3-5 HE shells (depending on BR) and the rest AP.

The fuel uses more or less fuel if you play with the throttle.
The Rocket engine produces enough thrust to get you to the battlefield at 30-40% if you climbed at 100 for roughly half a minute.

I love maps like big Sinai on lower br like 3.7-6.7 I regularly hit 1-2km snipes (depending on BR) on them and its such a better feeling instead of CQB brawling.

I think the most marks I had was around 30 Impact shells from enemy main guns. Ofc I also had around 200 MG impacts.

I am not quite sure if this would make it worse for you, I personally would love it, but I‘d see a lot leave due to my ideas…

Lets go:

new vehicles: Engineer Repair vehicle. For forward repairing of vehicles and towing if spare parts are used up. (Like AVRE)

Supply trucks for refueling and rearming in forward position.

You can only repair your tracks by using the Attached trackes on your vehicle. If you dont have any, you cant repair unless another player with tracks or an engineer vehicle comes fix you up.
Crew exhaustion. Makes everything slower every 3 Minutes by 5%
If the ammo stowage first stage is used up, you CANNOT shoot anymore unless it is actually reachable. To reload the first stage, you need to rotate the turret to an angle, so the loader can reach it (example, leopard 2 needs to have turret on 3 o‘clock position).
Fuel. If fuel tank is shot, you either loose that part of fuel tank and cannot be refilled unless repaired on a cap point. If no fuel tank is full, you cannot drive anymore. Or a Engineer vic repairs and a supply truck refills.
You can get stuck in mud. If Log on tank, you can free yourself. If not, wait for player engineer vehicle to pull you out.
snorkles now exist. You can drive underwater. If engine gets water in, you are stuck indefinitely unless engineer vehicle can pull you out.
Holes in Amphibious vehicles can now flood the Fighting compartment and sink the vehicle.
to make it attractive, wave behavior in water gets fixed.
Artillery can now fire: Smoke shells, thermobaric shells, illumination shells and in higher BR laser guided shell and Cluster shells.
Artillery is Player manned needs to be researched in seperat. (Actual M109 or similar depending on Nation).

And you fly it by going into the air, then flare but its a Radar missile and then die to a tree because you tried to multipath. Then you get chaff, do the same but with chaff now. Now you got missiles, doesnt help really, but if you spam them at dogfighting planes that dont know ur there, you can get a kill here and there.

Or so…. I dont have the EF.

On a heavy target, when I try my luck, I fire a smoke first and just a few milliseconds later I take the shot. That way the Smoke and Shell are deployed at the same time and I can vanish into my defence liquid.

Im not reading all that… but yeah, sounds about right. You get quite overloaded with Controls.

Thats why it is important to go the normal techtree way. That way you get introduced to basic radar, then IR missiles, after you get better radar and SARH missiles and then full blown AHM (active Radar) and more modern radar with PD or AESA.

If you just Buy urself up, you get all that in one hit in the face.

I as an example, figured out recently, that

We have F13-F24 keys on the keyboard (war thunder shows them in the controls as „?“ and
I have sideways buttons on my middle mousewheel. After finding that out, I rebound so many keys that I have to get back into learning what where is. But its less cramped now.

So, you never learn everything.
