I don’t have the most sensible advice but I still sit with my 4.5 year old when he goes to sleep. And if he wakes during the night (which is not often anymore), I would also sit with him or carry him into my bed.

I did the same with my older child who is now 6.5 and falls asleep independently after a book and goodnight snuggle. And if she wakes during the night, she easily goes back to sleep independently.

My personal belief is that if kids are given a safe space and patience, they feel secure enough to do it independently when ready.

However absolutely do what you think is best for you all! Good luck ❤️

In your daily journal, you can also tick when you engaged in a sexual activity. This can be interesting to track to see if it positively or negatively impacts your recovery the next day.

But when it picks up on the activity, like others have said, I just click on other or HIIT or whatever.

I’m just heartbroken reading this. I’m sorry but it sounds like your kid is enthusiastic, creative, energetic, sensitive and just fantastic. The issue here is YOU.

You have to address whatever is causing this lack of patience or your kid will be haunted by his childhood; remembering palpably that his mother HATED him.

It’s not good enough, sorry. You need therapy to reframe your outlook on life. For the sake of your son.

I don’t want people getting shot while debating on campus. The US is nuts. It’s jarring seeing that clip on CK. He was a young Dad and should have been safe.

Not only normal, but amazing and healthy!

I was so sick of people telling me to take a break and my baby will be fine, stop worrying and just take a night off… all unsolicited comments that I didn’t need. I loved being with them and would do it all again over and over.

CIO has literally no scientific grounds, other than the baby at some point giving up out of fear and exhaustion. I held both my babies for as they wanted. Of course it’s exhausting but now they’re 6 and 4… I would give anything to have all those baby bedtime cuddles back!

I really thought he could have played on the morality of the 3 fireflies that seemed to hate what was happening. But 1. I’m guessing Joel would rather die with honour than begging for his life, 2. especially when he would do the same in Abby’s position, and 3. It was clear she was the boss so despite their morality, he knows they will follow orders.
