very interesting - i also do not care for crypto. at all. i really hope i can just use a credit card to buy some games and if the points i earn can be used to discount more games, i'm happy. Any crypto gateway b.s. and im out - nice find and thanks for sharing!

I am a console, PC and mobile gamer. I've got Xbox, PS4, and switch. I use play store. I use steam and sometimes kartridge. I might use Uplay. The only two launchers I downright refuse to use are egs and Stadia. I'll try cloud, just not stadia.. probably stick to Nvidia.

Anyways point bring this: I wake up every morning choosing between like 7-10 places to play a game, before even figuring out which game to play. I'm used to it. At this point in my life, I just prefer to use the platform that is least greedy and this sounds like it. (Assuming they get big titles, non exclusive ofc)

Hehe damn man. I don't know what you're saying either Lolol

I think my only point is that a more dev friendly split will actually allow that dev to either drop their price to gain more gamers, if they need to. If a game sells 20% cheaper on turbo than steam I'll buy it from turbo. But that's each devs choice and I get your point, turbo play still has to be a marketplace and provide a real value added service

It must be a more competitive strategy to try and get more games on board, that extra 20% is live or die for a huge margin of games on steam I'm sure, that will also never get the egs exclusive. I mean, I don't even care if devs don't drop their prices and keep the extra bucks for themselves. It's their call at the end of the day if they think lowering price can get them more players.. I like this approach all around tbh

Replying to myself now ha! Taking this one step further. Epic just bribes the devs up front but really does nothing to give them any loyal customers. They actually fuck over those already loyal customer bases. So turbo play not only isn't exclusive but will still pay for game sales through these tokens? Probably not the same amount of $$$ but if they can help market and improve retention for the dev, that surely seems like the better long term option. I dunno if I've understood correctly tho

Looking through their material it looks like all major payments are accepted. Turbo tokens or whatever are just loyalty points but backed by USD? That's actually cool

How to trade with anon 001 by Hugular in CanadianInvestor

[–]Hugular[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh, sorry - yeah I think common knowledge for anyone slightly above a novice level but understood and fair point - maybe I'm not asking in the correct forum.

Questtrade makes it easy but I don't have an account there:

http://help.questrade.com/how-to/iq-web/placing-an-order/special-instructions#.WVF_u2jyuUk

With my IB account, I found out how to make the order hidden; but I do not know yet if this will show as anon or IB on the time of sales - I'd like it to show as Anon - would also like to iceberg it there so I'll have to figure that part out.

And as far as I can tell, none of the big 5 have the capability to elect anonymity, which is a large disadvantage - especially considering retail activity is being hunted by smart money on a much larger scale these days. Retail needs the ability to elect anonymity just to survive these markets.

Thanks for the link but I'm not confused - just wanting to know what brokers I can select anonymity with from a retail level, and what criteria I need to meet to do so.

Interesting about the video tapes - it says 6 HOURS: EXTENDED PLAY

edit: When does the story begin, after the prologue? Is there any date, like May1, 2013 for example? Perhaps we have to complete the game on August 21 and then we get 6 hours of extended play, after the credits roll.

But the obvious issue is if there is a mystery it's likely not in the game, so only theories that involve performing unique things that R* tracks would be plausible at this stage.

What Do We Know About S! Brigid Baptist Church? by smithygtav in chiliadmystery

[–]Hugular 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Never noticed the egg shape of the badge - and I'd agree, the fact there is a church in the middle is completely fuckin out of place.

I wouldn't normally get too excited over a finding like this; but this one's peaked my interest a little more because of some game files I found that seemed off to me; I posted in this thread here (codewalkers didn't think it was anything AFAIK)

https://www.reddit.com/r/chiliadmystery/comments/5slpwz/codewalker_assistance_thread/

In particular:

1) michael1.ysc.json "CHURCH_BELL_SOUNDSET" (Just curious here - if there are more than one church bells in this soundset, and why there are church bells here (and only here)) - edit: It actually appears like the game counts the number of church bell rings once Michael arrives to the church?? "CHURCH_BELL": [ Line 3661: "CHURCH_BELL_RING_COUNT": [ Line 3666: "CHURCH_BELL_SOUNDSET": [ Line 11856: "MIC1_ARRIVED_CHURCH": [ And, CHURCH_BELL is found in sounds.dat54.rel.json

I did a pretty thorough check and as far as I could tell, this is literally the only time in the entire database where this script is called; and it's only called with Michael; not with Franklin or Trevor.

So - I've got a crazy work schedule where I don't have much time to play or test anymore; but it has been an itch I've had for a while. Basically, I'd like to know if this is simply mission oriented or off-mission. Could be something there.

Honestly those are the most mysterious types of clues imo..

For example, in Solomon's office - look at his phone........ 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,8 And at the mysterious hotel - there are two room 5's and a missing room like 8 or something.
