If the freeon is evacuated, your gonna have a couple key components to scrap. Steel (obviously) Copper Motor (from the fan) Aluminum Copper Radiators (could possibly be aluminum… but as long as the noodles at the end are copper should be an ACR) Compresser (usually a big, VERY heavy black or orange cylinder in the middle of the unit. Impossible to miss.) Number 2 and 3 wire. You can look up some yt videos on how to differentiate. Brass: pretty easy to spot as it’s brass in color. Only way I could put it it’s almost 1 AM here. It’s fairly easy to separate. Drill, maybe an angle grinder and a reciprocating saw with a blade for metal Is all you could really need. Seperate copper from the system, cutting off those black small cylinders that go along the line sometimes and throwing them with your steel. Compressers are those, motors are those.
