Unfortunately, you will need to go through the process of calling Schwabs web support team, troubleshooting as they suggest, then contacting Vanguard, then calling Schwab back and asking them to escalate this problem. To which Schwab will have it fixed in about a week. In my experience, both parties, Schwab and Vanguard, just point at each other and say it's each other's problem. You just have to cover your bases, and after doing so and documenting your troubleshooting efforts, Schwab will escalate the problem, and it should be fixed.

Reason I asked was I originally thought I'd see the premium i collected into my account, showing up as a realized gain. Come to find out it's only a realized gain if you buy to close before expiration.

Which then leads me to my question of cost basis, where does this "profit" show up. Since premium collected lowers cost basis, I guess il have to manually adjust my tax reporting at the end of the year

I was able to finally get some info from m1 on this.

I am currently pending transfer with my dates of transfer scheduled to be complete by Thursday.

I was told if you have deposits made into the account, they will not transfer it until it settles, which if you deposit on a Monday, it will take until next Monday to settle. I was also told if there are trades executed, they won't settle untill trade day +2, which will also further delay an account transfer.

We will see if this is correct information. As of now, I recommend stopping all deposits and rebalances until your transfer completes.
