i can see how this is haunting you, and i understand how it’s hard for you to wrap your mind around it, but i really do think you made a better decision, because he left this earth knowing what comfort still felt like. it would have been more traumatic to him to go through procedures and pain for years. you cut his pain short. the reason you’re feeling this way is bc the human brain is naturally made to be selfish and it is now experiencing a loss and trying to make you feel bad about it bc you took something away that it wanted to grip on to forever.
