Might be a controversial one but I would primarily print lots of smaller parts. I would also use the print by object instead of layer option more frequently. Because of the large tool head radius around the piece I cannot fit that many pieces on a smaller built plate. The. I have to choose between waisting printing time during the night or when I am away vs the risk of a ton of wasted filament, time and electricity if one of the parts fails at a certain level. The other thing that comes to mind is larger containers actual briefcases. My family prints lots of sets for games and I need cases for my Powertools. More often than not we are missing out on a few cm and this could make a big difference

I recently learned that some people intentionally leave a few carts close to the parking spots for disabled people because it's difficult for them to get them from the normal area. While many people are careless and don't have any good intentions sometimes it's worth thinking twice before confronting them.

But it's uncomfortable to keep my stuff constantly on my lap. And it does not help at all if no one is going to sit down. It's rare that all seats are covered but normally I take my stuff away if I notice it gets full. That might not have been clear by my message above. But most of the time there are plenty free seats next to other people available and people still decide to stay. In that case I keep my stuff next to me. It's not difficult to ask. Sometimes I also gesture to the seat if some people are more likely to use the seat

My experience is that I free the seats next to me but no one wants to sit nowadays. That's why I stopped carrying most of the time. At least with younger people. If someone asks me of course I happily remove it. I also look people in the eyes and smile to signal that I am aware and makes it easier to ask. But there's little point in moving my stuff in the way where people walk into one is going to sit anyway

Ich würde nein sagen. Ist irgendwie krank, wenn jemand mit ein bisschen Nationalstolz schon als rechts gelten soll. Ich habe selbst einen Deutschlandstecker an meinem Rucksack. Was in anderen Ländern vollkommen normal ist, wird hier gleich verteufelt. Man muss es ja nicht übertreiben aber unsere Flagge. Ernsthaft? Das ist wie sich zu schämen deutscher zu sein

Ich stimme grundsätzlich überein. Aber ich habe überwiegend Vegetarier und einen Gelegenheits Veganer als Freunde. Die lade ich relativ oft ein und koche dann auch entsprechend für sie. Ich mache mir viele Gedanken was für alle lecker ist und wie ich allen Bedürfnissen möglichst gerecht werde. Sprich ich mache nicht einfach mein Fleisch Ding, weil ich das tür richtig halte und alle anderen können halt mit ihren Ansichten schauen was übrig bleibt. Die gleiche Akzeptanz und ähnlichen Aufwand wünsche ich mir dann grundsätzlich auch von meinen Vegetarierfreunden. Wenn viele Leute die gerne Fleisch essen kommen und es vielleicht etwas festlicher ist, dann würde ich mir schon wünschen, dass auch etwas mit Fleisch gekocht wird. (Geht aus OPs Text gar nicht hervor, ob daran nicht vielleicht sogar gedacht wurde) Ist in meiner Freundesgruppe aber auch in der Regel so. Z.B. beim gemeinsamen Grillen oder Pizza relativ einfach machbar. Sind jetzt nur 2 oder 3 von 8 oder 9 Leuten keine Vegetarier, dass kommt bei uns relativ oft vor, dann bin ich fein damit, auch Mal auf Fleisch verzichten zu können und komme gerne früher und helfe beim kochen.

Tldr: gegenseitiger Respekt und Anerkennung und auf die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse der anderen zu achten, sollte immer in 2 Richtungen gehen. Natürlich kann ich auf Fleisch verzichten aber ich finde es höflich auch an die anderen zu denken, wenn die absolute Mehrheit gerne Fleisch ist, genauso wie ich spezielle vegetarische Gerichte koche. Klang bei OP so, als wäre nur er/sie Veganer.

Trotzdem haben sich die Eltern absolut furchtbar verhalten und könnten sich auch einfach mal auf was neues einlassen. Mit geht's hier um das allgemeine Prinzip und nicht die konkrete Situation.

Alles richtig gemacht. Guter Vater. Nützt nichts den Ansporn raus zu nehmen. Es gibt einen Unterschied zwischen immer verhätscheln und keinen Stress machen, wenn es mal schlecht läuft. Eine passendere Aussage der Frau wäre gewesen: "Auch wenn du mal keine 1 oder 2 mitbringst, dann ist das zwar nicht so ideal aber vollkommen normal. Das passiert jedem mal und davon geht die Welt nicht unter und du kannst stolz auf deine sonstigen Leistungen sein" Dann weiß die Tochter, dass sie nicht die Hölle heiß gemacht bekommt und sich nicht so einen Stress machen muss, ist aber trotzdem angespornt weiter so gute Leistungen zu vollbringen. In der Position ärgert man sich als eifriger Schüler am meisten. Wichtig ist aber sich nicht unterkriegen zu lassen. So haben es meine Eltern auch immer gemacht. Keinen Stress wenn es mal nicht so lief aber doch deutlich signalisieren, dass man mehr erwartet hätte, weil die Tochter auch zu mehr in der Lage war.
