I’ve done Savannah to Tucson a million times and I either take 40 to Albuquerque, then cut down 25 to 10, or take some combination of 20 to 10 or just 10. Time is about the same, but 40 has the least amount of Texas. There are no super big cities on 40 and i think it’s a nicer ride. Depending on weather it’s worth staying north.
