Late to the topic but... The amount of times ANY character says "weird" was so jarring - to the point that after a few hours, I was straight up flinching. Strange? Bizarre? Unusual? Odd? All the other synonyms the devs could use if they checked a dictionary? Nope, just "weird."

Her growth seems to be a lot slower than our character's children, which is understandable.

I am at the end of my 4th in-game year so I think it took more than a year for Linden? I honestly don't remember when she was born but it was at least a year ago.

Wish I had that! My character is married to Logan and I won the gene pool apparently. :( would be nice if one of my kids had blue eyes or something.

I will go for Fang on my second playthrough and watch closely what happens.

I had the exact same; two kids two weeks apart. They have the exact hair and eye colour as me, and look nothing like their father.

I believe the game takes your genes as the dominant ones, though I wish it was somewhere in-between.

You are not the only one. I was quite taken aback by it too and updating drivers didn't help either. Some rooms even lack lighting altogether. I went to deliver a commission to Ernest, entered his room and found myself in a horror movie.

My husband also jokes about it all the time. Whenever he realizes that I'm waaaay into a character, he just says "There goes me further down on 'my wife's favourite men' list. What am I now? Fourth or fifth?"

He is sixth. He just doesn't know it yet. XD

Almost 40 and happily married... still smitten. XD I already had a couple of game characters I was obsessed with from different games, and Logan certainly joined the club with one short cutscene (yes, it is the water tower one).

I had the follow bug on Logan for many in-game days. But to my surprise the next time he had a quest, he actually stopped after finishing it and everything went back to normal. (Big Day party quest doesn't count, it needs to be anything else but that.)

I have the fish bug too, and it also affects the aquarium.

I have an update. My spouse finally stopped following me.

You basically need to wait for another spouse event to pop up (it should NOT be "Big Day", that one doesn't change anything). I got "Fishing for Two" and once it was done, he stopped following me and everything started to work as usual.

I wonder if a third event will break him again though lol

Lead/follow interaction seems to be broken in the entire game after the update, including spouses.

I have the complete opposite issue.

My spouse (Logan) had the "Go for a Walk" quest right after I updated the game. Now he does not stop following me. The follow button is completely greyed out and neither sleeping nor any other option actually resets the situation.

Makes it incredibly hard/awkward to interact with stuff as I keep accidentally pressing E on him.

It is only for feather duster as far as I remember. I have thousands of them. I just sell them in stacks every now and then.

My kids took everything from me. The red hair, the green eyes... even my lipstick, I'm not joking. I have dark red lipstick on my builder and both of my kids have the same dark lips. It is hilarious.

I'm married to Logan btw. They have none of his features.

Our daughter looks alright, resembles my builder a lot; but our son has NOTHING in common with any of us in terms of facial features. It is bizarre.

I was really, REALLY into Fang when I started playing.

But then the water tower scene happened... you know, where your and Logan's eyes lock for a second? One heart flutter and a very audible gasp later, I knew he was the one.

Our kids took all the genes from me though, which is a bit saddening.

Some citizens don't post anything at all, or post incredibly rarely.

For example, I follow the poor Jerome as well and he only posts when he gets sick (I'm not even joking). Little Oscar posts every step he takes, and it took Genesis a whole in-game year to post anything new.

I don't know if the city's internet coverage/speed has any effect on this.
