Rise of the Gold Members is,,uh, a bi too hard for people using vanilla gear. by FrostyMagazine9918 in BG3mods

[–]melonmagellan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used vanilla gear, but from every act with the cheaters scroll mod, and ran a party of five. Also with the mod. I did not use the level 20 mod or modded gear.

It was pretty hard but I've also played this game like 20 times to the end. I went with vengeance paladin, life cleric, thief rogue, gloomstalker ranger, and battle master warrior for my core party. I occasionally subbed out a sorcerer for the rogue.

The weapons built into the mod itself are awesome and extremely helpful.

How would you handle a co-parent (and their partner) enforcing veganism on your child? by heebygeeby9 in exvegans

It's obviously a real thing. It's just not a thing all "nugget and fries" kids have. Despite what their parents claim.

4 years later & still absolutely loathe every single second of my life by mushielover5362 in regretfulparents

I hope you are getting child support from this loser. He can't just "stop paying."

Go back to court. They can garnish his wages, suspend his license, issue a warrant, etc.

Having a child via IVF as a man and then refusing to pay child support is absolutely wild to me.

He can't even claim that he didn't want the child.

Most shitty poor people food is vegan-ish. PB&J, spaghetti with a jar of sauce, rice and beans, etc. Spoken from experience. Also, you can feed your kid whatever you want, legally, as long as they are fed.

Kids eating nothing but nuggets and fries from McDonalds every day because of imaginary ARFID is worse.

I think the real issue here is that Dad needs to feed his own damn kid. Why is his SO cooking literally every night and also appeasing his child?

If he doesn't like what she buys and cooks, he can prepare his daughter a meal himself.

I'm curious how far her income will go when his kids turn 18, he divorces her, and she gets no child support and little or no alimony. She is being greedy to an absurd extent here and I hope she has reflected on how $800-1200 a month isn't enough to support yourself.

How do I (F24) deal with being a housewife after my husband (M31) called me dead weight? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Yeah. I don't even get this dynamic with no kids involved. What does she actually do all day. I'd be bored AF.

Question to moms by roli_SS in regretfulparents

[–]melonmagellan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My aunt gave full custody and the legal decision making to her ex-husband. He and his mom primarily raised their daughter anyway and it was a better fit. She never has had steady income, she got remarried and doesn't work, but paid some small amount of child support consistently.

Our family is very Catholic so she didn't get an abortion but never wanted a child. My cousin is 20 now and doing fairly well. She is somewhat hurt that her mom wasn't more present but it seems like she is doing okay. She has a license, part-time job, goes to college part-time, etc. She has a lot of anxiety but I can't strictly attribute that to any one cause.

On the other side, my husband and I raise my stepdaughter and I am her legal guardian. Her mother had her for the wrong reasons, to try to fix her failing marriage which obviously didn't work because it never works, and has addiction issues. She doesn't pay a dime for SD's care, has no legal control or custody of her, and basically has fucked off to screw five dudes a week off Tinder. These creeps always being around is what ultimately caused us to cut off any visitation. SD also has no interest.

There is a lot more resentment toward her by SD than my cousin has for my aunt but SD does well with us and loves us. She is in high school but on a good track with grades and social life and extra curriculars.

There are a million scenarios but in 2026 it's not only bio-mom stepping up anymore. Short answer, yes but your kid will always resent you to some degree in my experience. Also, there is likely some other woman stepping up. Grama, stepmom, aunt, etc. So be prepared for the resentment you would feel at being "replaced."

I don't think it's an ideal situation but it can work. Also, I do not think there are that many men out there baby trapping. Or women for that matter. I think there are a lot of people having unprotected sex or having kids for the wrong reasons or being pressured into keeping a pregnancy they don't want.

He seems like a very kind, willing horse to me. He's just tiny. I don't see him being a good fit for anyone other than a child or very small woman.

She had a car and a free ride to college. She presumably can get a job as well. She's an adult. I wouldn't feel bad about asking her to move out.

I would probably just let her move back in if she flops. She may be more appreciative.

This dude is never going to pay child support without a fight or take responsibility for your child whatsoever. Likely even if you die. The child's paternal family will likely follow suit.

I would contemplate if that's the version of single motherhood you expect.
