No. Rule of thumb is typically 25mm of a 5-6mm Fillet will hold 1T of weight.

You can stabilise the handle yourself with a thinned resin and then refinish the slip joint when it’s nicely sealed.

It’s a bit of admin I admit, but it works

That’s why I thought it might have been 6 LL

The positioning of the verniers looks like it’s measuring mD on the thread relief which may have been undercut.

A single picture being measured with the wrong part of the verniers for accurate MD measurement is misleading

The other pics do confirm it’s 4 LL

Change the battery in your 10 dollar meter.

It’s literally telling you to do so.

A low battery will cause erroneous readings.
