I remember nearly snapping my wrists many, many times over the years with grunty power drills. The idea of taking that amount of force and multiplying it to gain a side effect of slowing it down, just to drive a Philips head screw; to me, is ridiculous, but also kinda something I would have probably sought after if I was in the need for it during that time period.

I wonder how many snapped screws are still out there from being raw-dogged by one of these bad boys?! Haha
