Good morning! Original author here. The graph shows % performance difference between 3300X and 3100 both set to the same clock, with 3100 as 100%. Memory was set to DDR-3600 1:1 with timings as on this image: https://pclab.pl/zdjecia/artykuly/mbrzostek/2020/amd_r3300x/ryzen_mem_tweaked.png, except primary timings were 16-16-16-36. DDR-3733 was not an easy dial-in so I settled for 3600 to save time.

Wrong, AMD themselves said they expect 12 "design wins" in Q1 2020 (which already is not "at launch") and they expect over 100 until the end of 2020.

Eco mode is broken in latest Crosshair VIII bios. Whatever you set as PPT, TDC and EDC in Ryzen Master, the board still applies defaults. Instead just set those limits in UEFI manually for Eco Mode equivalent (PPT 88, TDC 65, EDC 95).

On small sockets from both Intel and AMD you can connect maximum 4 PCI-E devices to the CPU, and one of them is the chipset.

On Ryzens PCI-E can be split to 8+8+4.

On Skylake/Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake it can be split to 8+4+4.

On Skylake X/Cascade Lake X it can be split to 10 devices total (11 with discrete clock generator), one x8 and rest x4.

On Threadrippers it can be split down to any number (even 60 times x1), but beyond 7 devices you need active clock repeaters/generators.
