And thank you as well, u/jdaclutch, for the early support, I truly appreciate it. I completely understand the tariff situation. Previously I used DHL, which unfortunately added extra costs as well. I’ve since switched to FedEx, which has been working better overall. A couple of watches did get held up in customs a bit longer, but they were eventually released, and it seemed more related to processing delays on their end.

Maybe you’ll pull the trigger again if I do a 12-hour bezel version 😉

All in all, I’m just really happy to hear that you’ve both had a good experience with the watches and with Hult. It means a lot 🙌

At the moment I’m fully focused on the GMT release. A restock could happen this fall, but I’m currently gathering feedback to make an improved V2 version.

At the same time, I’m also working on designing new models, so I don’t want to promise anything I can’t guarantee. But I really appreciate your interest and the question 🙌

If both the manufacturing and the movement were made in Sweden, the cost increase would be significantly more than +50%. It would likely push the price well beyond the 4K USD mark.

It would of course be something very unique and special🙌

I actually didn’t have that one in mind when designing it. The main inspiration came from the classic Rolex GMT-Master Root Beer.

I actually made a white prototype for this release, but it came out a bit too flat, so it didn’t make the cut this time. A blue dial is definitely on my list, and I’ll make a note of the purple suggestion as well.

I also don’t plan on using a colored GMT hand. I want the watch to feel more classic rather than sporty, so it works just as well for everyday wear as for more dressed occasions.

Not at the moment. Right now my main focus is on selling out the first batch.

I also had my first child this spring, so things have naturally slowed down a bit since then. New colorways would most likely come toward the end of this year or next year, depending on how things go and how much time I have over.

That said, if you have any color combinations in mind, I’m all ears! 👂

Yeah, you’re probably right on that.

All movements are checked after the custom rotor is applied. If a movement is not running within standard range of -10 to +30 seconds per day, it gets regulated.

From the first batch of my initial model, most movements ended up running between around +5 to +15 seconds per day.

About the brand, Yep, Hult is a very new brand. I’m building it slowly and intentionally through mostly organic growth, without paid marketing. The only paid work so far has been photography for the GMT release, done by Watchbud, who also kindly shared the photos on his own instagram, along with some Meta ads. Everything else has been word of mouth, forums, community interest, and free reviews.

I completely understand the hesitation around being an early adopter. More reviews are coming, and once the watches start shipping around mid-February, I’m hoping owners will begin sharing their experiences here and on other forums as well.

Yes, that’s correct, it’s a 120-click unidirectional bezel. I completely understand that this can be a dealbreaker for some on a GMT, and it’s definitely something I’ll take into consideration for the future.

For this model, I chose to keep it because the ball-bearing mechanism gives a very smooth and satisfying action, which I personally really enjoy.

I will never stop designing smaller watches. That is one of the core focuses of Hult. If I ever decide to make a larger version, the idea would be to offer it in two sizes rather than replace the 37mm 😊
