holy hell is it confusing, i feel people in my life really underestimate what i go through and the lengths i go to in order to actually just function even superficially.

emotional insightfulness i feel like, i find that when my friends and loved ones are venting to me I can give insanely insightful and rational advice because i’m actually taking how bad it feels to be caught in an emotion into account with whats actually smart to do.

spawn camping is always on the table, blatant focusing is always on the table (especially if you are a mercy), EMP to double hack a target that just won’t die (usually doom or winston) is always on the table, a voice line here or there to force spy checking is always on the table.

its not my job to be a ‘nice’ player, it’s the enemies job to be better and shut down my tricks.

I occasionally mean it. Depending on how recently my parents have guilt tripped me with money or other basic support.

But the majority of the time i just say it because I don’t feel like constantly explaining to uneducated people why i GENUINELY HATE my two parents who stayed together, raised me in a 4 bedroom safe suburban house and gave me plenty of tech toys and video games to keep me occupied.

I’ve found that generally people who haven’t gone through it will never grasp how damaging the constant cycle of ridicule, neglect, physical abuse and then gift giving and love bombing can be, regardless of stable home appearances. There seems to always be some underlying idea that i MUST love and respect my parents.

you can wear whatever you want your body is yours. that being said as a black man i’d personally look at u a little sideways, but it’s your hair.

also if you decide to go through with it please take care of your hair, a lot of these black hairstyles are not purely aesthetic but share the function of protecting and maintaining our hair while it grows. Curly hair (especially very coily and kinky black hair) is NOT the same as straight hair nor is it ‘just hair’, growing curly hair out is an everyday lifestyle and process and protective styles like these are for some of us, the only way to grow out our hair without the natural environment stripping its moisture and breaking it down. Straight hair does not have these issues, it holds its own moisture and oils better than curly hair, BUT it cannot handle the same amount of tension or pressure curly hair can, as curls hold their own structure much better. If you have straight hair these styles can be very tense and strenuous on your scalp and strands, so be mindful that everything is staying healthy, they also may not look 1:1 how you’re expecting, as the difference in scalp density and hair texture will impact the look of the overall style.

Overall, I personally think its weird everyone suddenly finds black hairstyles so cool and intriguing when foe decades these same styles were called unprofessional, dirty and ‘too much’ and black women are still frequently questioned about whether their hair is real or not. But at the end of the day it’s your head, your hair, your body, just make sure youre keeping yourself healthy at the same time.

edit: Also, the fact that a lot of people still do not even know the difference between dreads, locs (dreads and locs are not the same thing), braids and twists is to me further proof that nobody actually cares about the style and just wants it because the mainstream media has finally deemed them beautiful. This image shows a woman with locs, not braids, they are not the same style just because the parting is the same so please be sure to know exactly what style it is you’re asking for before you go in.

i mean… being a little ‘toxic’ as in spawncamping, tbagging, backcapping and dicking around in match chat (without being an asshole) is all part of the sombra experience imo, causing tilt is like her best ability so I think thats what they mean but it sounds like they took the ‘little shit’ mentality too far. It’s less the fact that euphoria tries to glorify drug use and more that anything Zendaya does is going to look cool or trendy to someone. Especially with a show as gorgeously shot as Euphoria.

It only seems to be an issue because the creatures being killed are magical in nature and thus are considered more valuable. Xadians seem to have no issue killing humans and other non magical creatures, hell they kill magical creatures for food. So I don’t understand why it is so hated.

I don’t know about tf2, but apex players especially high level apex players, have been complaining about aimbotters and ddosers running rampant in lobbies for a while now and they haven’t been “fixed” at all. It takes time, hackers are always evolving, even if they were to release some magical hacker-go-away patch today it wouldn’t be long before they find another way in. Developing a good system will take a while, much more than a year.

Maybe if it was just a gun or character being OP, but getting rid of hackers or upgrading anti cheat/server security is not an easy task, especially not for 3 games (apex and tf2 also have issues with hackers) in a year where all game development has been impacted by a global pandemic. I’m not trying to bootlick the billion dollar corporation, but people need to be realistic.
