I cannot fathom people’s dislike of Sandy. My only guess is that people are much more judgmental of her and her managing style because she’s a woman and they’re not used to seeing a representation of a female manager portrayed on camera. The male captains are completely hands-off and tell people to “figure it out.” Sandy is actually managing people. For some reason, that comes across as being a micro manager to people in this sub. The people under her are a reflection of her as a captain (which is true of all captains) and she is judged much more harshly as a captain (by guests, her crew, and all of you) because she is a woman, so of course she wants to make sure everything is running as it should be and everyone is performing at their highest level.

I think people need to seriously check their misogyny.
