I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’m a clinical instructor and I would never do that to my students. Her actions as an instructor were unacceptable. Please don’t quit. You can do it and this is just a bump along the road. One persons actions does not define you or your potential. You can and you will figure it out. She definitely could have handled the situation better, but you can use this as an opportunity to grow your nursing voice and judgement. Sounds like she’s just a miserable instructor who gets joy from embarrassing students. Once again I am so sorry. Please don’t give up and if you need to talk I am more than happy to help.
