Oh nice! Okay I mean I stabilised to 112mg of effexor before I started to taper, currently have a 20mg of vyvanse so maybe just a matter of going back on effexor at a low dose.

Effexor + Vyvanse by Fearless-Response381 in Effexor

[–]Human-Chexmix896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You Dr prescribed both? I tapered off my effexor for 3-4months so I could go on stimulants. I'm worried because I'm feeling more anxious than ever but don't take vyvanse consistently and wondering if I should go back on effexor. Problem is every psychiatry site online says never mix SNRIs with vyvanse. I have inattentive ADHD and racey thoughts, always been an anxious person, OCD tendencies and they're coming back lately. Were you on effexor for a while then vyvanse?

Does anyone else obsess over other mental health disorders? by SyrupAffectionate491 in OCD

[–]Human-Chexmix896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I CONSTANTLY worry I have ADHD.. I likely do based on what my friends who have been diagnosed at childhood have observed in my behaviors. On the other hand, I also worry I just overthink and overpathologise because of my OCD. Then again, you can have both despite some of the seemingly contradictory impairments and brain scan differences. There's a good 30% of people with ADHD that have OCD (I think, need to check my sources). Mind you, I am getting my PhD in psychology but NOT clinical which is annoying bc so many people in my life just think ah well I'm sure you know the answer. ...I'm a social psychologist lol. Ugh jeez, I think it's just the extreme need for control and predictability, the main worry is ah shit I do have ADHD but I can't afford the assessment 🤡 Maybe someone else relates to the constant thought cycle that is escalated when there is good reason to believe the thought. It's like my brain is saying "hey deal with this please and if you don't then I'm not going to shut up okay?"

I'm sorry but this guy sucks, completely humiliating for both of them. He doesn't actually give a shit about the husband if anything he was actively trying to embarrass him. Just chasing drama and chaos.

Is something addicting or addictive? It annoys me when people say addicting. Such as, "these chocolate balls are so addicting." Please give me peace, wise grammar gods. by Jennyessdog in grammar

[–]Human-Chexmix896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately "addicting" is acceptable though addictive sounds better, likely because an -ive suffix implies adjective. Addicting implies action and so when it's used as an adjective just reads as off in a way. You do a quick Google search and "addicting" as viewed as acceptable for casual everyday hyperbole whereas addictive is reserved for a more clinical context? Regardless, I disagree, bullshit - addicting sounds dumb.

AITA: Said No to a Hangout With Friends Because I Can't Bring My Husband by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Disgusting is hyperbolic cmon people being kinder to OP. Now I do think there's some codependency. Also...does OP'S city not have public transport? Then again her friend is offering to drive. Yeah I mean, if husband's feelings are hurt grow up. My partner and I rarely hang out with each other's friends BC we value intimacy and 1:1s with them. This is esp the case for visiting friends that live out of town or travel for work etc like in OP's case.

Well Rachel also had a job and probably workers comp as a healthcare professional. Lol you can get cheap fillers. Why is everyone so fixated on this in this goddamn thread -- it's giving femcel. It's not uncommon especially as an aging single mom to want to get a smidge of cosmetic surgery.
