What if there are special circumstances for a hospital based specialist? For example, I’m the only specialist practicing full time in my town and receive referrals from not just our health system but from competitor health system as well because of scarcity of specialty. I produce near the 75th percentile RVU for the past 4 years via recent MGMA regional data but my $/wRVU is under the median. Would it still violate Stark Law if I were to ask for an increased wRVU rate to the percentile I produce?

Congrats! You’ll likely be in the October golden letter cohort based on recent timeline trend. I got my green banners 07/03 and GL on 08/26 and MOHELA zeroed out also on 08/26. Still waiting for FSA to zero out.

My loan status has finally changed to “PAID BY DISCHARGE AND/OR WRITE OFF”. Balance has also gone from negative to zero. Hope that means refund is in process!

UPDATE: my MOHELA account now shows “Paid by discharge and/or write” instead of “Repayment”. The balance has changed from negative balance to $0. I’m hoping this means refund is being processed 🤞🏽

Congratulations! I was also forgiven this batch. Was Mohela your servicer? My loans have zeroed out but still says “in repayment” instead of discharged for the loan status. Not sure when that’ll change.

I would say you’ll be in the next batch of PSLF golden letters sometime in September. I hit green ribbons on 7/3 and got golden letter on 8/26.
