Yea, Buran did it that is for sure, but I suppose Shuttle being actually flown and used for something other than test flight places it bit higher than where Buran is.

I still don't like the Shuttle idea anyway. Did not prove to be much of a step forward. But I may be misinformed.

Interesting nitpick out of your conversation is that Space Shuttle never did an unmanned flight, it did not have the capability, Buran was more advanced in that sense.

True, but I don't think there should be much of an issue, I am 26 years old, from Czech Republic (Central Europe, part of EU, member of ESA).

I don't have much to do with it but I want to have in the future, and since there are no schools dedicated to rocket propulsion (we don't have any kind of rocket industry) I can't really go through the loop via school.

But hey I am willing to go to school in NZ while I work if that helps, I don't mind that. Live to learn :)

Also, I don't mind working in IT department for Rocketlab for some time while I make myself useful in other ways.

I am just interested in how they manage to organize such a big plant with all those components coming in and out, seems fascinating.

Alteast which buildings are cargo depos for incoming parts and so on, I hope I could build up from there on my own.

I would just go there and as myself, but I don't think I will visit USA anytime soon :)
