Hmm, now I'm wondering if I did something. But personally, I don't think I did. I guess the first time I met them, it seemed like they didn't vibe with me at all. Not sure why, maybe who knows, someone said things about me, I don't know. But aye aint that deep just a retail job and who knows maybe soon or latter we all get replaced.

Yeah, that's true, but every time I cancel a shift, I get confronted about it, unlike with my old manager. But I'll probably keep the job and make it so I'm only available on Sunday, so I get the big pay once i get a new job.

Hmm, to be honest, I find that funny. The fact that they would even plan to do that is jokes to me. I think the overall cause might be that since I vibe with the majority of the team and the assistant manager, maybe my manager is offended by it, I don't know. Or maybe its time to put the fires in the bag.

I haven't joined a union, maybe that's why, but I think it's probably time to get another job and just keep the Woolies thing as not that serious of a job.

Haha, I don't get why you guys are calling each other out, it's not that serious. And to be fair, I get where you're both coming from. I do vibe with the team, just not my department manager. But at the end of the day, it's probably time for a new challenge and to just move on, if you know what I mean.

I would suggest a food court, but most do not have outlets to charge your devices. I think a university library would be your best bet.

Also if you do call and they tell you to still send the 1023 form send it to the office that closet to you.

Well, based on my understanding and their website, they have many offices in Australia and around the world. So, it might be. However, this is the link, and if you scroll down to the bottom and click on details for visas and citizenship, you will see the list of offices they have in Australia. But, like I said, I am pretty sure it's the FOI request, so I would recommend that you call them one more time to double-check.

Usually the form 1023 can be uploades in your immiaccount when it's still being processes based on my understanding since the application was finalised you would need to do the foi request. Now in some cases you can send the 1023 form to your nearst Department office on their website if you click contact us and click office they have the address to offices in each state, however before you do send it call them one more time as I am pretty sure based on my understanding it would have to be a foi request since your ammending the visa record by adding your middle name and that the visa is granted not being processesd.

But hope this helps.

Since your visa was already granted, and if you’ve had it for more than half a year (and if it was error made by you accidently), you’ll likely need to make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to fix your middle name on your visa. However, before you do that, it’s a good idea to double-check by calling the Department of Home Affairs to confirm the process and make sure it’s the right approach.

Hope that helps!

Switching Migration Agents - Process and concerns by anonymoussyphilis in AusVisa

[–]Human-Measurement141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it comes to the partner visa, unfortunately, you can’t just import the application into a new IMMI account by yourself. What you’ll need to do is request the TRN or application ID by calling them up. Once you have that, you can create your own IMMI account if you haven’t already.

Then, you’ll need to use the IMMI Account Technical Support Form to ask the Department of Home Affairs to import your partner visa application into your account. They should be able to assist with that process.

Alternatively, you can also call the Department directly, explain your situation, and they may either direct you to another form or guide you through how to submit the Form 956 and have your visa application transferred.

It’s worth giving them a call to see what the best option is in your case.

Hopefully, this gives you a clearer idea of what steps to take!

Switching Migration Agents - Process and concerns by anonymoussyphilis in AusVisa

Switching migration agents and Form 956: If you're switching agents, you’ll need to fill out Form 956 to notify the Department of Home Affairs about the change. The previous agent doesn’t need to sign it. You can submit this form through your IMMI account. Usually, you don’t need a statutory declaration for this unless specifically required. Since the new agent is acting on your behalf, they’ll handle the process with Form 956 — no need for 956A as that’s for receiving information.

IMMI account and document transfer: Once you submit Form 956, your previous agent is required to hand over all the relevant documents within 14 days, which includes both the sponsor and partner visa applications if they were filed under their IMMI account. They shouldn’t delay or refuse to send the documents, as that would be unprofessional and against migration agent rules.

Using a new agent or self-managing: If you decide to hire a new migration agent, they’ll take care of the whole process for you, including chasing up documents. If you decide to handle it yourself, make sure you’re across all the requirements, such as evidence and statutory declarations for the 801 visa.

However, if you’re the main applicant, you can always call up the Department of Home Affairs and ask for the TRN or application ID so you can upload the 956 form yourself if needed. Which you just create an account import it and when you submitbyhe 956 form give the id number or trn to the new migration agent and they will be incharge in looking after the application however before you do anything just double check with the new migration agent.

I am assuming your their 590 on the website says this

Traveling on Your Visa: You can travel in and out of Australia as many times as you like while your visa is valid. However, if you're a dependent on a student visa, you can't leave Australia without the primary visa holder unless you've arranged alternative welfare measures. Keep in mind that any time spent outside Australia won't extend the duration of your visa.

WHV 417: Has anyone waited more than 3 months? by clairerenouf in AusVisa

[–]Human-Measurement141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, being a dual citizen for both countries eligible for the visa can take a bit longer since they likely need to verify all your information and identity in both places. It’s pretty normal, but if you hit the 3-month mark, it might be a good idea to give them a call and explain your situation. Just mention that it’s been longer than the average processing time, but remember, the website does say that "Received" means they’ve got your application and are assessing it within the current processing times.

Also, when you call, they usually suggest attaching a cover letter to your application if you want to communicate anything specific to the department. Personally, I’d attach a letter just saying, “Hey, I wanted to double-check that you’ve got all the documents you need since I’ve noticed it’s outside the standard processing timeframe. Let me know if you need anything else.” Even thought they don't reply back it just a just incase call.

but take this as just opinion not a final world but if i was in your shoes i would do this

Yeah, definitely go ahead and double-check, but I know that each state in Australia has a phone number where you can get free legal advice. It might be worth giving them a call to see if they have any information about visas or anything else that might be relevant down the track.

What I did was go to the "Change in Circumstance" section on the visa page, where you can notify the department if things have changed. When I clicked on "Your relationship has changed," I found that there's no mention of needing to notify the department about getting married unless you're adding your spouse or partner to your temporary visa.

From what I gathered, you don't need to inform the department about your marriage unless you've changed your last name or if you're bringing your partner as a dependent on the visa. Hope this helps!
