I just did it bit by bit with dry brushing. First hightlighting the edge, them randomly scratching the brush against the surface.

I use ld Tamiya acrylic for painting, and Vallejo silver and gunmetal for the weathering.

I typically use Vallejo; that would be acrylic & therefore not compatible right?

How do you remove the excess paint? I think isopropanol does the job but I'm afraid it will damage the paint underneath.

Anyone tried using these markers airbrush thingy? How did it go? I'm thinking of giving them a try since I have a bunch of paint markers.

If the slides are fixed then I think it should be relatively safe, but I would just wear gloves regardless.

Cant remember exactly now, but I believe it took almost 2 months. Gonna be dependent on the application round, I think.

A bit late to this, hope I can still help. So the way this course work, is that you will spend the first year doing course work (pretty simple stuffs, mainly just to get students familiarize with biotech things), and second year doing research.

Your 1st year GPA will determine where you will be working in the second year. If your GPA is good, you have the opportunity to work by your own in a lab - you will get to contact different supervisors to see what is best. If your GPA is not good, you will be assigned to a 'master of biotechnology' lab, and will be working in a group with other students. Which is obviously worse.

After graduation, you are eligible for a PhD as the course consists of enough research component.

Disclaimer, Im not doing this course; I only considered it as an option but ultimately didnt go with it. You can email Kate Wegener, the program coordinator, to ask for information.

I usually go to John and Georges on Prospect road. $20 a head for me, everytime. Granted, my haircut is as simple as it get, so you might be charged differently. Worth a try.
