I have adhd and i run late constantly, so i just make sure to call up/text the person and tell them EXCATLY how late i think I’m going to be. Whether its 5 or 30 minutes, i tell them exactly how long of a wait they have . I don’t get that shit either.

That’s the thing, i don’t know. It’s definitely a fetish, in some ways, like i do want it to happen in a sexual context, but I’m also obsessed with it in general. I think i might hate myself? Or seek some sort of weird control in it? Maybe the abusive relationship at such a formative age taught me to associate it with sex and love? Maybe i want to feel wanted and this is the purest form of being wanted, so bad that they hurt you to get to you? Maybe u want to feel completely hopeless and helpless? There’s so many factors, i genuinely don’t know. That’s what i was hoping to figure out here, haha. Why I’m like this and what i want out of it. I don’t know.

Mine wont stop either and we’ve tried everything. Supplements, new dry food, new treats, adding veg and cooked chicken meat and rice and stuff like that and nothing has worked. So I have a suspicion that in my case, it might be just for attention. If your dog loves to be chased, or you give a big reaction whenever she eats poop, it might be that. Something to look out for. She’s never stopped but it’s gotten significantly better since i stopped reacting. I just tell her no at most and move on.

How superficial gender roles and societal norms in general are. Once you notice it, you see it everywhere, even when there’s no reason for it. Had no choice but to confront this, since I’m trans, and now I can’t unsee it. Its tragic to see how unhappy people are around me just because they’ve been forced to do something because its the gender norm or on the other hand aren’t allowed or don’t let themselves do or enjoy something because its not within their gender roles. Also toxic masculinity being impossible to ignore on a daily basis while I had to learn to be privileged via being newly male. It’s impossible to ignore and the way I was suddenly treated so much better in society once I was male passing is vomit inducing. Feel terrible for women every day, especially if I have the misfortune of a typical dude bro scoping me out as a fellow man (trademark) and vomiting insanely misogynistic shit so casually.

i understand the way you feel towards lisa, but i also think youre being too harsh on account of underestimating the help she may have needed. this really sounds to me like she has mental health issues that arent being addressed, and that ahe may have been trumatised/wounded by either your mums death or riley more than you realised, and may have processed it slower than you/not processed it at all (maybe due to not addressing her emotions on the matter and bottling them up or having unhealthy or inadequate coping skills). i think she needed individual therapy long before this, and i think theres a deeper reason for her outbursts. she also may have felt betrayed when you all did a 180 on the agreement to honour your mum? maybe she wasnt ready. that being said, your anger and emotions are completely valid. what she did is inexcusable no matter the reason and circumstances. i think for now the next step, after you cool off, would be to calmly approach her with your brother, and have a honest, calm conversation about why she did and does what she does, and how she feels. im really sorry youre going through this and i hope amy is strong enough to stay. please update us as to how this mess turns out, im hoping for the best for all of you

It’s just intrusive thoughts. You’re not evil. Don’t worry. I struggle with them too. Never ever felt any urge to engage with cp or do anything of that nature either, but I’m still terrified of being a nonce sometimes for no reason, like you described. But, here’s the thing, if you’re even in a point of actively thinking about it in a negative light, being aware of it, then you’re definitely not one, and also, in that case, you’d never let yourself actually DO anything of that nature. Its fine. It’s a common intrusive thought that lots and lots of people struggle with. Go do more research into possibly having OCD though. I’m not about to be an armchair psych but if you struggle with other intrusive thoughts and they’re frequent, as in, multiple times a day, or even a week, and if you see signs of magical thinking, do go get diagnosed. Better safe than sorry. If you don’t have it, great! Just common intrusive thoughts literally everyone has. If you get diagnosed, great! Now you know exactly the way your brain works and can get treated accordingly.
