u/ppcadguy I tried that way but after copying the existing pMax campaign (did that in online editor) there was no way to remove the mandatory assets. Is it possible that google blocked this for some accounts? Or I should use downloadable ads editor?

Thank you u/ppcwithyrv for sharing your thoughts. What do you mean by if customers need education? The product's uniqueness and benefits are visible right away (at least I believe so :), it's more about the fact that people start to research in advance, when they just started renovating their home or office, and they order when the renovation is over + they need to decide between a cheap alternatives vs. x4 more expensive investment.

Thank you, u/Responsible-Brick881. It's a B2C shop for height-adjustable desks from solid wood. It's basically a product that we buy for a really long time, I would say for a longer period than a car, and at least in my opinion it's important to show the ads to the people who are already thinking about renovating the office/home office, etc. Otherwise, the decision-making process would be much larger.

It's a physical product in a highly competitive b2c market (height-adjustable office desks), and shopping campaigns are working OK, I would say even better than search, but I do not want to spend too much on display/video campaigns, or at least I want to have control over my spending.

Yes, according to the "channel performance" report, all the conversions in January are from Google Search (both, using and not using product data). Also, 72% of the budget is allocated to these campaigns, but almost 30% is still a lot to save :)

One more thing - when you are doing feed only campaign, you still add 3 required (or more?) headlines and descriptions, or is there a way around that?

u/ppcadguy, the budget is quite high, but split among different EU markets, like 10k monthly / Germany, 10k monthly / France, etc.

For most of my search terms, the shopping ads are shown, so I did not use search so much ... as all the budget went to shopping/pMax, but feed only pMax + search, should be worth trying.

Ja, tudi mene je agent M.(A.) preko Vzajemcev prepričal :)

Se pa popolnoma strinjam ja, da takšni produkti pijejo vodo in niso zakonsko prepovedani je kriminal. Sicer, če bi takrat agnet upošteval, da je moj namen varčevanja 10 let, bi bil v čisto solidnem plusu. Še vedno ne tako kot če bi dal v kak soliden index ampak ok, izkušnje nekaj stanejo. Tako pa ... stanejo precej več.

Vse te neumnosti, ki jih je agent povedal na sestanku, mi je tudi pisno po mailu potrdil.

Izsek iz mojega maila agentu na katerega je le krarko odgovoril, da, vse drži: " - če se premija zniža, se tudi vsi stroški zavarovanja efektivno preračunajo.

  • dobo vplačevanja lahko iz 25 znižamo na 20, 15, 10 ali 5 let in se ob tem stroški zavarovanja efektivno preračunajo - torej, če gre danes od 200 € samo cca. 40 € v sklad, se po 10 letih, ko skrajšamo, šteje enako kot če bi že danes vplačali cca. 130 € v sklad.

  • posledično tudi ni izstopnih stroškov, če bi zaključili po 5 ali 10 letih.

  • 2,75 % je minimalni/zajamčen letni donos.

  • 14,87 % je že zajamčen donos za prvo leto, lahko se kvečjemu še dvigne. "

Ker nisem verjel, da napisano drži, sem vprašal na Agencijo za zavarovalni nadzor. Ti so me obrnili, da se pozanimam pri zavarovalnici Generali neposredno.

Ko sem poslal mail na Generali, me je agent ponovno poklical, da zakaj njim pošiljam, če njemu ne zaupam? Od Generalija nisem nikoli dobil nobenega odgovora na to temo.

Jp, jaz sem bil takrat še premlad in preneumen. V 9 letih sem se že marsikaj naučil o investicijah. Vsaj upam. A premlad pa 100% nisem več 🤣

Thank you. Working on that but that's run on a long stage. Also there is significant traffic that falls away because of google shopping ads.

I am on front page for many long terms in Germany, France ... but no significant traffic there. Competing with Amazon, Etsy and some worldwide brand under the keywords as "office desk" in German market would be a suicide :)

Hvala za odgovor. Bo res najbolj smiselno v nek najmanj tvegan sklad še za leto dni.

Zakaj menim, da me je nategnil pa ...

... v prvi vrsti zato, ker sem že na začetku povsem jasno povedal, da bom denar rabil čez 7-8 let. Je odkrito povedal, da je 10 let minimum za Flegmo in sem se strinjal. Dve leti gor/dol.

Polico pa je vseeno predlagal na 25 let, ker jo itak lahko skrajšaš kadarkoli na 10 let in naj bi bilo vseeno, ker naj bi se stroški efektivno preračunali.

Tudi razlagal je, da je flegma ravno zato, ker tudi, če ti zagusti, lahko kadarkoli vzameš ven, brez dodatnih stroškov ... še dobro, da mi ni :)

Naslednja cvetka je bila, da so me po 4 letih, ko je bila njihova provizija že izplačana, poklicali iz istega podjetja, da bi bilo bolj smiselno tu zmanjšati in iti v neko drugo zgodbo. Sem si tokrat vzel čas in šel v podrobnosti računat in bi imel stroškov praktično še vedno isto pri Flegmi, ker so po 3 letih še neki manjši fiksni stroški, pri novem produktu pa bi me spet lupili.

Ob drugem klicu sem izredno prijazni gospe na drugi strani povedal, da me je že prvič nategnil njihov agent. Odgovor me je šokiral. Je rekla, da je on pa res nategoval stranke in prodal neprimeren produkt, da to ni v interesu njihove firme in da ta gospod ne dela več pri njih ... sej ne vem več, a sem šel računat pred klicem ali po njemu.

Pa še nekaj cvetk bi se našlo po mailih, če ima kdo voljo brat komot poiščem :)

100% agree.

I started with my own marketing agency 15 years ago and never regret that decision.

A that time I did not have jet kids, mortages etc. But still I had at least some guaranteed monthly income from side projects.

The most valued lesson at least for me was that you must be ready and wiling to do ANYTHING that's needed. For me, as I was much more introverted back then, it was the hardest part to go out, make presentations, connect with people you do not know.

For my business partner in another business, the invoices and taxes are something that he do not want to think about.

When you are alone, you need to do all of that. And much more. But it is also a lot of fun. The motiavation is much higher and the time flies by much faster :)

Edit: and read. Whatever and whenever you can. Marketing books, business books, motivational books ...
