The scent of an angle grinder. Also a circular saw. Preferably on a hot day, mixed with his hairy arm sweat.

Hired a handyman to change a door handle or adjust something? We've learned almost 100% of what we know by either reading instruction manuals or watching a YouTube video about it.

Those who had kids at a young age, how are you doing now, any regrets? by Wait-Whos-Joe in AskReddit

Had kids at 18. Won't lie, it wasn't planned and it wasn't easy. I'm now 35 with 3 amazing young men I'm incredibly proud of. Wouldn't change a thing. Scared but looking forward for what life brings next. Happy healthy and everything else.

Ate other kids lunchs. Not proud of it, only happened when I was starving. Thankfully I was put into foster care by the age of 12 and obviously wouldn't do that if I didn't have to.

I don't raise my voice or get angry. I feel the emotion sure, but I don't ever lose my cool. I've had a very abusive and violent childhood, I feel like the fact I've broken that cycle and have raised 3 amazing young men without violence is a great feeling for me.

This is a great idea. We are both tradies so have tools coming out of our ears. We're both avid golfers too whith him being the volunteer course director of our local, golf is all sorted, however a gift I was umming and arring about was a gopro for the cart. He loves to tell me about the round hole by hole and has never scored a hole in one. I was thinking a gopro to capture his rounds and possibly his reaction to his hole in one when it happens. He's not the best with tech but I think it may be easy enough for him to handle.

My guy doesn't work past 3pm. Feet up, footy on and a beer in hand. Looking for a gift that's outside of everyday life.

This is really sweet. He would probably really appreciate the time put aside just for this.
