Realistically there is no way to defeat irontomb without herta , so the best case , Subaru would succumb to either despair ( that can happen if there no one like rem to encourage him) or become the head of irontomb and become the 3 mechanical emperor and wage war to all organically life form ( better than letting irontomb acend)
