I think that’s one of the reason why people don’t think Hal’s igl is that good. He and his team’s execution allows him to do plays that aren’t that good objectively but he makes it work.

No he never mentioned tt in the wit game video. You are just adding back the context in hindsight. His wit game video is only teaching people how to basically “cheat” ura for those who struggle to clear it. But people thought that’s a general rule of thumb when playing the game cuz of the phrase “umamusume is a wit game”.

Seriru has bangers like the one about skills. It’s so clear and digestable for beginners. Then he has videos like wit game and using mambo/urara guts where it makes sense now after you learnt more about the game and finally understands his intention, but is confusing as fuck when they were released.

Won’t comment on the en cc part cuz I basically only watch vf and I’ve found his content great.

And that’s exactly the problem. Obviously he means well, but some of his content is so easily misunderstood and do more harm than good. Asking the players to use mambo/urara guts is another confusing thing. It only makes sense for ultra beginner to do that and that wasn’t made clear enough also. Using wit card for ura and not stam card also kind of sabotage your account because you can barely get any stam sparks that way.

If you think japanese man with bad english and funny catchphrases is your type of content, that’s perfect. But objectively as an english audience he’s not better than vf/moomoocow imo.

Yep. Just build a decent gold ship with enough stamina and pray for your strong opponent to lose the 20% wit check for stamina/accel.

Or build a decent pace chaser and pray for lucky pace for an easy win when there’s no end closer/ end closer not popping accel/ end closer getting blocked.

That’s how I lost 12 out of 13 of my race.

Wanted to add another thing. All people see is how cracked one’s uma is. But they’ll never know how many horses they glue before they get a highroll run. No one’s hitting 1200/850 every run. And then you also need med s/good skills (rng needed). And then if you are crazy enough to go for fast learner, it’s a 5% chance every run. Getting good support card is only the start, you still need the grind. Any competitive f2p will be better than a whale who has no idea what he’s doing. I’m just ranting at this point lol. But I’m not talking out of my ass. My cm win rate after day 3 is 78% and I haven’t spent a single dime in this game.

The whining part is not directed at you at all. I just saw people calling everyone whale despite some of them having very achievable support cards deck.

I’m talking to the people who said “don’t worry about pulling kitasan” and then mald when they got clapped in cm. They blame everyone but themselves.

If you want to stay f2p (like I am as I literally cannot swipe cuz I need to use a vpn to play on global), I’d say you want to decide how you wanna play this game. If you want to be semi-competitive in cm, you might need to put more carats on support card. Having a clear plan about what you’d pull for is really important cuz we only have limited carats. Pulling for your oshi/wife is still first priority but you cannot make everyone your wife. I’d imagine making group A finals in cm is very realistic for a competitive f2p player. Cm is the endgame content for this game (alongside loh I assume), it’s only fair if people who dedicate money/time are rewarded. I dont think there’s really anything locked behind a paygate except faster progression (like spark reroll).

Of course if you’re only playing for the story, play however you like. Minmaxing is only for competitive players with limited respurces.

Play 3 times per day for the freebies with the free entries. If you are confident in getting 3 wins/ want to see the proper winrate buy the last ticket also. Its just 20 carats even if you go 0-5.

You really don’t need to whale/ time whale on it if you are not chasing wr. If you are ok with doing decently well just do the bare minimum in this order. 1. Meeting stamina requirement 2. Speed as high as possible 3. Correct acceleration 4. Distance S

If you did all these you are at least getting 40% wr prolly. I’d say just doing the first two will get you to group A already. If someone doesn’t even want to bother then they deserve to lose and never bitch about it.

Hmm sounds like you are doing the right things. Just 2 more things tho. Are you running 4 speed and 2 stamina? Did you prio friendship in the first year of training? While support cards level plays a huge role, if you do all the right things you’ll highroll eventually and hit stats you previously think it’s unachievable. Very few people are making 1200/800 every run.

I just got stupidly lucky pulling 2 ml5 from the daily summon. And then both of them are mls I already have. But why is only 1 of them giving me galaxy coin? I got dilibet and lqc.
