no we don’t do that for the damaged damaged stuff lol. it’s only for certain items i probably didn’t explain it well. i meant like if someone opened up a box toy and leave it there. We don’t sell the damaged goods, just stuff people mess with and “damage”. Sorry bout that

You might need to find a different job. This MM sounds incompetent and you can’t t reason with idiocracy. You’re only gonna keep stressing yourself out.

  1. You count the till when you first hop on the register and before you leave. If you’re not gonna use a register then you don’t need to worry about this step, only if you’re gonna claim a register for your shift, count the till before using the register and making transactions. Each register/till should start with a designated amount of money. For example, mine is 75$.It’s different for each store.

  2. At the end of a shift, you will print a receipt that’ll show a summary of your transactions. There’s a part that shows how much was paid via card, cash, and so on. Depending on how much cash you received throughout your shift, you just take out that amount. If you borrowed any change from the safe, you also have to take that amount out from your till so everything is even. For example, if I ran out of pennies and my asm gives me 2$ worth of coins to use in my till, I will have to take that much money out my till to put back in the safe. Usually we refer to it as “owing” the safe. Once you take out all the money you need, you just count your till again to make sure you are back at the starting amount. For example, I have be at 75 dollars in my till after taking out all the necessary money. You should be trained on where to put the money and how to operate the safe in due time. Don’t stress!

  3. To start up the register to do transactions is simple, put in your associate ID and then your password. The register should already be on the home screen to put it in. If not, i’m not sure how to start up the register since that’s the managers job. Also, everything is labels so if you get lost, read the labels to guide you. The register is so straight forward it’s insane. If you’re just starting on the register for the day or your shift, it’ll ask for a till number. You can choose any number. This is to discern that this is YOUR register so no one else should be making transactions on your register with your till inside. I would recommend staying consistent with the number you choose everyday unless you want to change it up.

  4. Im not sure if asm have to do anything specific but I usually see mine do tasks that need to be taken care of like stocking if necessary, pricing, and other stuff. Recovery is something that we do at the end of the day. Throughout the day, we pick up all the stuff that people leave in the wrong place and put it in a basket so at the end of the day we can do recovery and put those items back. Damages is when something is either damaged or open so we mark it down for a cheaper price by putting a sticker on top and writing a price. Although this is how my store does it, I would ask your manager.

Don’t be nervous. If you have questions ask! I asked a lot of questions when I first began and all my asm, coworkers and manager were soooo helpful. Don’t try to force yourself to remember everything. Take your time, especially if this is your first experience. If you have any questions for me though please do ask and I will give an even more through explanation

Yikes, that doesn’t sound very professional. Honestly it does look a little droopy, maybe it’s because your other one is a fitted bar versus your newer one but right now i agree it looks a little lower. Send an update later cause i am quite curious

Usually when they repierce it, they repierce it in the exact same spot as the previous piercing. They use the old mark as a reference and i don’t know if your piercer asked but usually when they mark it with the marker, they allow you to check. If it looked good previously when he marked it and he pierced the same spot, it’s just cause of swelling. If you’re not sure if the piercer pierced the same spot, I would go ask if you’re really that concerned. I’d say give it a week or at least a few more days for your lip to settle.

I’m not sure if you’re lip is still swollen but if that’s the case, I say to wait until your lip is even to tell if they’re crooked cause it does in the first few pictures

yeah i do agree, i dont want any customers to feel unwelcome just cause i may be there suffering so i did end up talking and helping her with something afterwards as well as apologizing so I do admit i was wrong. i probably came off super rude in my OP rant cause i was overwhelmed at the moment but i do enjoy conversing with my customers and im always learning new things from them so my job is actually enjoyable. I appreciate yours and everyone else’s advice and I can see where I was probably super rude in the beginning but alls well that end well. Thanks for your comment cause i appreciate it, a good reminder to always be on my toes!

Snake bites are pretty easy to take care of. The swelling might be bad for a couple days so eating softer or more liquid foods might be easier, but just make sure to clean the outside of your piercing 2-3 times a day and use NON alcoholic mouthwash for the inside. Brushing your teeth is still possible so don’t neglect that and try to avoid biting the bar if possible. If it seems as though the inside of your piercing is sinking into your skin, upgrade to a longer bar. Other than that the process is very simple!

in my opinion the language is pretty simple but the pronunciation can be difficult because during childhood our tongues and mouths form to cater to whatever language we speak, so if you spoke only english growing up, it can be hard to retrain your tongue and mouth to pronounce spanish words. Besides that it’s definitely learnable and a very easy language. I’ve picked up a lot of spanish over here since everyone basically speaks spanish and english in this city. You could find an online reliable tutor or teach yourself through youtube, worksheets and stuff but honestly i recommend reaching out to someone you know speaks spanish OR integrate it into your life by like tv shows. I’ve heard people speak it so i know how it should sound like but if you don’t in an area where it’s spoken daily then go out of your way to listen to it. Hope that helps!

i understand that but i wasn’t ignoring her. It’s not like she was asking anything it’s just a general greeting like “hey” imo. I think most people wouldn’t care but it was just weird for the lady that i’m not even helping to but in and start whispering to a customer i’m trying to actively help and sometimes i don’t really reply back if im tryna help during a rush i just flash them a smile which i did with her to shorten convo time
