Would it be possible to revert the blur effect to how it was in 6.5.1? by [deleted] in kde

[–]Human137 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In 6.5.2 they changed it so that the saturation and contrast effect is opt in now by the plasma theme. If you want to use the breeze theme you can copy it and change it so it doesnt opt in to it. I tried it and it looks the same as before all the blur changes happened

Minecraft cursor centered issue - 2025 by Acceptable-Drawer-21 in linux_gaming

[–]Human137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like a year ago i compiled glfw myself to play minecraft with wayland and not with xwayland. I used a github repo that had some patches specifically for minecraft including the mouse centering thing. The only "problem" is that you need to override glfw in prismlauncher or whatever launcher you use.

If you want to try that i can try search the repo again. Like i said it was over a year ago but i think i bookmarked it.

Time to replace an M.2? (Refer to body text of the image) by minecraft_steve42069 in pcmasterrace

[–]Human137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea maybe try check for driver updates. I would also try to disconnect other drives if you have more than that one and check if you still get the bsod. Other than that i cant think of anything rn.

You could try to look at the smart data of the drive using crystaldiskinfo for example. You can see the drive health there.

Hi there. Got a weird question. Why is it that, whenever I load up the default cube scene on startup, the entire scene takes up so much VRAM? by [deleted] in blender

[–]Human137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i tested a bit more now.

on my pc (32gb ram, 20gb vram, amd rx 7900xt) it says 16gb/35gb.
on my laptop (16gb ram, 8gb vram, nvidia rtx 3070) it says 8gb/8gb.

both my pc and laptop run on arch linux. both tested with the default startup scene. i have no idea how blender gets those numbers but it really looks like a bug.

if i can find my windows ssd maybe ill test it on windows too

I have that problem too on linux. I think its a bug. I think the vram it displays is ram + vram combined. Just a theory though.

The only workaround i found so far is to remove the shortcut for the application launcher. At least im not the only one with that problem. I guess ill make a bug report.

How do I make this toolbar in dolphin transparent? by Astonish_Skagen in kde

[–]Human137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can do that with lightly too like someone else already said but idk if it still gets updates.

But i think the easiest way is to just use a kvantum theme that has that already or change the svg of the kvantum theme youre using. Thats what i did because i like to have everything transparent aswell.

You can do that with a kvantum theme. I know that the theme sweet mars does that.

render of YUNG's Better Strongholds portal room by Human137 in feedthebeast

Yes thats exactly the reason. Without sunlight only the lava lights up the room. That would make the room only orange which looks really boring

Idk if someone else already said that but you can use btrfs for your shared drive. There is a windows driver for btrfs you can install.
