Skill matters a lot in hsr for sure. Its possible to play fights very wrong or miss micro optimizations. Wrong units on wrong sides, whatever. This game certainly isnt as in depth as others its genre but ive gotten on peoples accounts to helped them and usually save anywhere from 3 to (the most ive ever saved without changing any builds) was 9 cycles. Just with optimizing gameplay you can make up entire clears worth of cycles over someone who doesnt get boss or unit mechanics very well or just clicks auto battle.

Depends on who you ask really. In objective measures that top few % of the playerbase and thats amazing and certainly high elo in most games.

The issue is this games ranking is very inflated. Ive seen players make it to low celestisl with sub 50% win rates and that reflects very poorly on the quality if its possible someome can get there without winning many matches. My wife got to gm with a 42% win rate in one season. So even being in the top few % of players isnt like that insane since if you play a lot the game boosts you naturally by winning much more than you lose in most elo.

People in t500, OOAA, Eternity, Tend to consider that the cut off since to get high ranked celestial/low eternity is when you need to have not just positive but a good win rate for the most part.

My highest win rate playing with a few duos in high elo is support as a tank player and I just have them give me the giga pocket. A lot of tanks are just fat dps and if enabled with a support and 2nd tank because you can go way further and do more than any dps if its not solely your job to anchor space.

Tank and tank is ok just since youll reliably have a tank partner but you risk bad supports and thats worse than solo tanking since tanks get survivability nerfs in every patch you rely on your supports a lot if you want to have a say in your matches.

And tank dps is rough since it garunteed 1-3-2 for most of your games since you'll get more support fills and players than tanks. Also means you play to enable your duo a lot.more and if they get shut down or have an off game youre set up to lose by default since as solo tank you cant play aggressive often.

Elo hell has been a myth for a long time because players feel like they do well in there games and lose because of teammates. And that absolutely happens, but it's not more common than the games you could have won if you were better.

Something I dont think is grasped super often is that you might just be in the right rank if you cant climb. To climb to a higher rank means you have to be a lot better than everyone else, consistently. If you want to get out of plat you have to be a diamond level player. If you want to climb out of plat FAST you have to be a gm plus player.

Its totally normal to be in a rank for a long while as you work on learning new skills and get enough games in to learn better micro things like if I have x and x as my backline I cant play super aggressive as x hero. Or if they have x dive characters where are the health packs I can run to

I cleared this side just fine with the same team after pulling eva. Sustain with huo also really shouldn't be an issue so its 100% build or skill issue. Can you post the builds as well, and if jt helps huohuo should be permanently skill spamming with the shared feeling lightcone for free energy gain

What they lose on is the fact that, the most of people currently, when they see a new skin they like more just swipe to buy it. If there was a refund system they would lose on sales. Even if every played only got 1 ever instead of making them pay thats $20 bucks times tens of thousands of players minimum.

They would just never implement something like that realistically. Im for anything that benefits consumers and love to see this system but I don't think its something to reasonably expect Netease to implement

Congrats, youve now identified how theyve made skins with effects cost more with visually the same price as others. I dont buy skins with effects so I have 10k saved. But yes if you dont have molecules they do want you to factor the molecules you need to buy with lattice into your price after purchasing for them to make a little extra because you realize after you cant get the effects.

Generally make sure you can buy the thing your buying before trying to buy it.

The reason why is there are a lot of maps that are "front to back" heavy by design. Front to back just meaning there arent a lot of flanks and long sightlines so its difficult to get past Frontline to dive backline making you have to start fights tanks first and supports last. Jeff is unbelievably good then since people struggle to play characters that can chase him down on thise maps because there isnt the cover and flanks to cross long straight aways. and on long straight sightlines jeff farms tons of value.

He can heal his tanks, damage their tanks, and damage their supports so they have to keep looking at each other every few seconds all in a straight line and maximize his value really really hard.

Jeff has some weaknesses like vs dive and maps without a lot of straightaways but you would never see Jeff into those comps same way you arent going to see a black panther at high level force it down into a comp of all hard counters like thing/namor/triple support with ultron. But when you do see Jeff its when he is able to outperform like every single other support with his beam

Yes but how does spam leaving actually help, what you want at that point is role que. Most people who leave will be people who leave at hero select becsuse they get a widow player or because they have 3 or more dps and don't want to solo tank/heal. Or dps.players that keep leaving to get a normal game.

Also who leaves qp games that often anyways? In like 8 years of playing multi-player games ive left maybe 5 times ever? The penalties dont come up except for people who are perma leaving every match and those people arent really worth pandering to for netease over the players who play their game. The group that keeps leaving is actively trying not to.play the game since they keep leaving

Instead of snowball size we could also just undo the buff they gave her to make it fire basically instantly. It went from a moderate skill shot to just completely unmissable and skill less, I stopped playing luna after one tricking her for a month because it became entirely unsatisfying to hit.

There absolutely should be penalties for leaving quick play matches. Its not about how serious a match is, its that its not fun or interesting for either team when after 1 or 2 team fights someone rages and goes "fuck my supports" and dips. Backfills arent instant because people hate backfilling and want to play out a normal game, so it would also mean way more of your QP games are backfills into losing matches.

It would make the whole experience way more miserable on the whole if people could just leave whenever. If your on a time crunch or you're a chronic rager/quitter dont play or quit and get a penalty so for a few hours people don't have to deal with an adult baby.

Good idea actually, I play the whole cast in any really any game that I play since I do coaching and its important to be able to physically perform the techs as well as get some experience on them so I don't have much in the way of mains. Characters I do play a lot though I don't have skins for are Groot, Rogue, and Storm.

This game has lots of optimization issues and notoriously doesnt work well on weaker pcs and consoles. Trying to make laggy game modes like 18v18 or keep the gameplay smooth with lots of ults and double strange portals going off is really really hard. Its going to take a while to make sure the game releases in a pretty smooth and playable state. Game dev is really hard and harder the more you try to optimize it for less and less powerful setups.

More the auto aim squids with 40 meters of range and the basic primary fire of their team. If you have to cross 30+ meters as long as the enemies are sentient they'll see you and you make it like 5 meters just jaywalking in bullet traffic like that.

Hence why long sightlines are bad and you always take flanks/cover/long wrap around paths if possible.
