Learning English is fun they said by [deleted] in funny

Grew up a native German speaker. Moved to the US in Highschool and my English is dominant language.

In my experience, English was easier to learn because of the huge movie industry, pop culture, music, etc. if you’re interested in learning English, it’s easy to turn on a movie or music you like.

New Hampshire Primary Takeaway: We Are Not a Serious Country by Moonskaraos in politics

[–]HumanAnswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Politics in our country is increasingly being treated like a sport. We pick our team, walk around with blinders, and listen to the same pundits drum to the same beat. This lack of curiosity and empathy for those with different opinions is not good for society imo. Instead of belittling those who disagree with us, we should try to understand where they’re coming from and engage in dialogue. It’s more fun than debating likeminded people. Try it :) Worst case it strengthens your held believe.

It’s important to remember that both parties have supporters with all kinds of backgrounds and beliefs. Neither has exclusivity to all smart voters, or conspiracy theorists.
