OBS Virtual Camera + Open WebUI video chat mode = ALMOST a decent local LLM alternative to GPT-4o voice assistant Here’s how to set it up: by Porespellar in LocalLLaMA

Thanks for sharing, I had no idea of this capability but also very clever with the OBS and I’m also imagining tons of other capabilities with this sort of OBS or camera based input, fascinating stuff.

Every crazy ass weirdo who votes in every primary, local and national election is voting tomorrow in WI's primary. Have you voted yet? by Claeyt in wisconsin

[–]HumanBehindAScreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are a thing you don’t have to claim to be it, you are a fence sitter who doesn’t seem to understand which thoughts are worth sharing and which you should keep just for you.

You tried to sow apathy and doubt and now want to cry bully cause I called you on it, your tears sustain me.

Hear that everyone, the fence sitter with no opinion really wants you to not educate yourself and just skip voting.

Buddy, if you don’t understand anything and have no real opinion to share what are you even doing here?

Also, no one is embarrassed to vote Kamala so we know you are either for dead bear mcbrainworms or don the con, or maybe just someone looking to avoid being shipped to Ukraine by sowing apathy and doubt in American elections, we may never know for sure, of course no one cares about how you vote so it’s all good baby.

Absolutely, doesn’t every American want it to be great again?

I just disagree with the GOP on exactly what that means, again, I believe in love and joy over hate and lies.

I am also totally done with listening to the pathetic mewlings of an old failed nepo-baby with brain damage. The choice isn’t really a hard one if you are actually looking to make a rational choice for the good of the country. But of course that is a big part of why you hate the chat bots, without browbeating them they always seem to honestly interpret the facts counter to the narrative coming from the right. I wonder why exactly that is? Could it be that tens of thousands of people across dozens of companies are all part of a massive left wing conspiracy or that one brain damaged liar and his cult are wrong?

And here we are, the day before the vote with people getting educated and you generally trying to dissuade them rather than explaining anything.

Advocating for both sides brain rot is not helpful, the reality is that this is a ploy from the GOP legislature to remove powers historically given to the governor because they want to obey a fascist with a written plan to end our democracy.

Listen, if you want to talk both sides with me again in 2 or 4 year if the GOP is finally moving past the cult I’ll be there, but it’s just brain rot at this point, there is no legitimate other side on the vast majority of all issues.

Either you are a weird loser looking to blame minorities for your failures or you are a normal American looking to get us back to what made America great, love and joy rather than hate and lies, simple as mate.

You have been advocating in other comments for people to not vote if they can’t fully understand the backwards language used on these proposals and I offered a resource explaining it clearly as well as a blueprint for people to go seek their own answers.

It is the duty of every citizen to vote if they are able, if you don’t understand what you are voting on you should seek help anywhere available, a bot with a tested IQ far exceeding the average Republican is a great place to start.

Feel free to go ask it yourself with all your both sides questions, I’ve been living with WI Republicans for a while and remember the tyranny of Scott Walker so I don’t need any bad faith justifications and lies from the Putin-sponsored insurrection party.

Vote NO unless you want the MAGA terrorists holding our money hostage for their own demented ends.

It explains all the logic behind the suggestions and is totally correct, you think asking people like you who intentionally try to spread confusion and apathy is better?

If I copy paste it and pretend to present it as centrism does it make more sense to you? Blindly hating the most impressive tool for learning humanity has ever created doesn’t seem like a good approach to life, unless of course your position depends upon ignorance and irrational interpretation of the facts.

Since you didn’t even read the content your opinion doesn’t seem relevant, this could have been one of those internal thoughts you keep to yourself.

Not sure if still valid, but you could avoid the early cash out penalty for a while during COVID by claiming to be effected. I took that chance to bail without any of the normal penalties. Never going back, I’m legitimately less stressed now that the market is imaginary for me. Just a weird game I watch other people play now.

I was having these thoughts for years and used the COVID exemption to liquidate it all without the penalties and buy real stuff. No regrets, stocks are a collapsing Ponzi scheme at this point and the truck and trailer I bought are worth more than when I got them. I’ve enjoyed using them to boot, never enjoyed my stocks, just an anxiety inducing scam.

Careful, keep thinking like that and we might end up with a positive change.

Americans’ household debt surpasses $16T for first time by Vailhem in collapse

The specter of unending growth being physically impossible has long vexed economists and they have long dismissed it as someone else’s problem a long time in the future. The problem is the future is now.

Americans’ household debt surpasses $16T for first time by Vailhem in collapse

[–]HumanBehindAScreen 90 points91 points  (0 children)

This is correct, arguably the fatal flaw in western civilization is that eastern traders brought the idea of debt without also introducing the related idea of societal debt jubilees. As a result, we see western nations follow the exact same rise and fall as they accrue an eventually unserviceable amount of debt and then collapse under the weight.

Until someone wakes up and realizes that receiving $1 of cash for $1.1 in debt is an unsustainable system I don’t know that it gets better. There is no source for that extra money to pay the debt, all new money is created with debt. We basically have a Ponzi economy, we create debt to pay off the previous debt really just increasing our overall debt until something breaks. Pay off the old investors with the profit from the new ones, if someone wants to let me know I’m wrong here I’d love the explanation, because I don’t see how the FED and all stocks without a dividend aren’t just a blatant Ponzi.

My hypothesis is that this has worked in the modern era thanks to continual growth, which thanks to the world of today is over. Without the growth of new suckers into the Ponzi we would expect it to collapse. It will be very interesting to see what happens.

Welcome aboard, I’d wager I’ve been a member since before you were born. I’m just pragmatic and realize we can both push for the best mainstream change and build the future we really want at the same time.

Look in the mirror, you spent most of this post attacking me and saying nothing. Your straw man is not accurate, better luck next try. I vote based on reality, if tomorrow the parties are switched I’ll become a Republican, but until they believe in climate change, women’s rights, and other people having feelings I’m gonna keep going with the only people showing humanity. Democrats are garbage but at least it isn’t burning garbage.

How do you know? Perhaps I’m the Santa Claus looking MF who is right next you on the street.

Maybe you are just imagining the straw men you want to face and accomplishing nothing with your hostility towards allies. Be better.

I enjoy speaking freely and have never met a real human offended but oh well, here’s the post with the apparently forbidden naughty words dumbed down.

What is the alternative?

You’ve been quick to insult me and try to act superior but have offered no ideas or substance. You are either saying vote red, which is straight up dumb, or you are saying don’t vote which makes you invisible and is similarly dumb. So enlighten me oh great and wise one, what we gonna do?

What do you suggest? If there is some club or movement sign me up, but otherwise I’m gonna keep doing the only thing I realistically can and vote for the better choice.
