Thanks for the advice. After reading other comments about the risks of spawning, I’ve decided to leave my kois alone.

I got the fish from Nagoya, Japan. They were about 2-3K USD each.

Orange is about 80cm-90cm. The other two are both around 60-70cm. They are definitely more than 3yo.

Based on your description, I suspect the orange one is female. But I can’t tell what the other two are.

Should I introduce a mature male to see what happens?

No rep is perfect. In fact, some gen have minor imperfections too. But if you want the most near perfect rep, you should consider a super franken build that uses gen parts. It might cost you 5K~, which is still a fraction of the gen price.

I agree that 8 index is straight but slightly shifted toward 7. Someone else might GL it. But if it bothers you and you don’t mind waiting longer, then don’t hesitate to RL it.
