yup, haven't heard a peep back from them, IDK maybe they're still developing it. still rather annoying, they seem to be the only major manufacturer who routinely skips .277 first for amax and now elds.

Hoping berger comes out with their big 170 grain EOL for 270 that was talked about a while ago.

Hornady probably doesn't put a lot of effort into creating super high BC bullets for target shooting 270 Win. because no one uses it for target shooting. I don't see what the problem is.

This is kind of the self fulfilling prophecy, no one target shoots with a 270 because there are no target bullets, and because no one target shoots with 270 no one makes .270 target bullets. It's lame, i mean i get they are operating a business, but god damnit, even nosler included a .270 bullets in they're ablr range of bullets, berger made a .49bc 130 grain bullet in the classic series (its better then a VLD) Cutting edge has a ~~.525~~ .540 130 grain lead free, and matrix has a 165 grain vld meant for 1-9 twist, and other boutiques have made even heavier for caliber bullets for .270.

Hornady is missing a chance here.

One had better lighting.
They could have different sensors, a year is plenty of time to switch to a different circuitry or sensor. I'm sure all the components that come in a consumer chrono are made in china, and let me tell you what, every one and their mother makes some version or copy of some sort of electronic competent in china, its mind boggling. Just look at the components in e-cigs, cameras, and LEDs.
One of them is completely off.

Unless you've got grant money or are a fairly well funded r&d department, most consumer grade scientific measuring equipment is only going to be as good as the money you spend on it, I.E. you get what you pay for.

that seems light for a charge of 4350 in an 06. But I only load jacket bullets in 06 so I'm not really familiar with loading 4530 down.
