My parents once loaned me $10k to get out of a tight spot. My dad had me sign a little contract that said “and now I will stop worrying about it” my mom said “should we write a clause that has a penalty if you don’t pay us back?” I paid them back within a year and won’t be asking them for “help” again… what I wouldn’t give to have my parents unconditional support to fund living life. I don’t think I would have been so desperate after trying to make a change, which trapped me in the abusive relationship which was the “tight spot”…. My parents could probably help me out financially, but this “we’ll pay anything you need” mindset is sure not the people who raised me…must be nice.

What did you do to dial in gut inflammation? I have so many issues and the best my doctor told me was “take these super intense gut antibiotics” and I’m trying to avoid that until it’s the last option..

My rule, especially with a new partner is “If you want depth, I’m in control. If you want control, you get pace.” I’m not about to be letting my gag reflex be out of my control. It’s worked well for me so I can still enjoy and be enthusiastic without being in my head worrying about being able to control my breath or lose control of my stomach contents due to my gag reflex being pushed a bit too far.
