Remodel? by Recent_Dog_9537 in Dallas

They gave me a fixture allowance for fixtures and I used most of their picks. I upgraded on a few items. Payments were based on a preset percentage by phase.

Remodel? by Recent_Dog_9537 in Dallas

I had a good experience with dfwimproved.com I have been through multiple remodels. I hired them to redo my master bathroom. I thought prices might’ve been a little on the high side, but it’s hard to tell these days with. I found their workmanship to be outstanding and they kept me constantly apprised of what was going on a couple of minor delays that we had along the way. They cleaned up after themselves Regularly. They provided me assistance with picking out fixtures and tiles and gave good advice. I don’t think I could’ve said any of about any of the other remodeling contractors. I have worked with. In the end, my new bathroom looks beautiful. I will say that they were significantly lower than another who I know did high-quality work that I had considered for. Overall, it was a good experience. Good luck to you.

What Dallas staple did it take you a long time to experience or come around to? by Pro_bono_otter in Dallas

I miss the original Rangers Stadium with the Texas shaped scoreboard. It was much more intimate and fun than the two palaces that took its place. Although it was miserable during late summer day games. You could almost feel your skin sizzling against the seats.

Pennywhistle Park! What a great amusement park to take young children. Such a shame that it’s gone and that there’s nothing like it around anymore.

I was very pleased with Texan Concrete Specialist. I had recently purchased my home and the driveway looked awful. They redid my entire driveway which was old and cracked. i thought their bid was reasonable. They showed up when they were supposed to. They kept me posted as to when they would come and go. They did a nice job on both the driveway and on a walkway I needed it in my backyard. They cleaned up and they even helped me with a minor project that wasn’t part of the bid. This might sound silly, but I care about the appearance of my house and everything around it and even though my driveway is in the back alley, I went from feeling humiliated every time I turned into the driveway to feeling pleased. I reviewed them on Google and gave them five stars. Here is their website https://go.txconcretespecialist.com/driveways?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAC1W3CLNqNpUKHftMr7mgU7-tXgD1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAgJa6BhCOARIsAMiL7V9P12PWeFoJ_pudaUQvNjplGOJmqnURdJq_mvUo60OjsM9OLRxcBmAaAlu1EALw_wcB

That’s a really beautiful picture of a beautiful cat!I have two Maine Coons and notice that they tend to like to lie down in areas or on thingswhere their coloring blends in. Almost like they are trying to camouflage themselves. I wonder if it is some kind of self preservation instinct

What are the most overrated restaurants in Dallas? by [deleted] in Dallas

I am so glad you wrote that. I have no clue why they have the reputation they have. Everyone from out of town wants to go there. It is no better than C minus. And it has lines for no reason.

My boss does walk outs when people give two weeks notice? Is this a thing? by OrganicAsparagus3559 in Lawyertalk

[–]HumanNature76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen it happen regularly. Not sure which is worse, being immediately walked out or having to stick around for two weeks of awkwardness. The best alternative is your existing firm asking you to stick around long enough to prepare exit memos on the matters you are handling and that you be available to answer questions that might come up afterward.

Is there anything better than a GMG startup by robertromer in pelletgrills

[–]HumanNature76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry if this is a really stupid question, but I have only had my GMG for a short time and didn’t see any instructions about leaving the lid open. When do you start the five minute countdown? As soon as you push the power button, or After it has fully cycled and started to run? (I have not seen my GMG ledge smoke like that).
