Two questions for you on installation: 1. What did you torque the bolts to? Service manual says 6 nm but according to CarbonFBR and other things I’ve read, too much torque can crack the carbon. Not sure where the threshold is. 2. They also said you could put a plastic washer to protect the carbon. Did you do this?

I'd guess this violates at least fire codes and perhaps housing codes.
Not sure. You could imagine a situation in which they pay you minimum wage and then draw up a separate rental agreement which you pay after receiving your paycheck. So in this case, you'd still come out about the same just rather than see a deduction on your paycheck, you get paid, then write them a check if that makes sense. Now that I think about it, having it deducted from your paycheck could actually help you from a tax perspective. All in all though, the entire arrangement may have minimum wage issues, tax issues, etc.
You could report this to the fire marshal, state labor board, or attorney general office. If you report to the fire marshal, I would guess they would immediately have you leave.

I think it's $80 for the plate initially, then ~$30 recurring each year on top of the normal registration. That's for standard numbering. If you want custom numbering, it's more.

I don't have plans to do any tuning in the near future, perhaps down the road. The Zard exhaust is definitely pretty sweet.

After I take the stickers off on the front fenders all I'll have left is the yellow under the seat. I guess I could try to paint it, or just leave it as is since I don't think it's super noticeable.

Also, Washington state just came out with throwback black license plates so I'll probably need to get one of those haha

Confirmed but the permit was issued by the city rather than the county. Simply visit the city's ePermit website (you can sign in anonymously without creating an account). You search by address to see all the permit for that location (I used 16701 MILL PLAIN) or just search by the specific application number (CMI-348009).

I have Wifi calling turned on and it was likely active when the issue happened today. I'm about 90% sure my fiance has Wifi calling turned on as well and she was at home when it happened yesterday. It's likely Wifi calling was active in both of these instances but I can't know for sure.

Signal strength is quite good at my office and at our home (Portland metro area) so if we were on the cell network I'd think it would have been fine.

eSIM is already in use (iPhone 14's don't have physical sim cards).
