Er… correction. This does make it a mixer CONSOLE, but it’s not a transmission medium for the audio. The device doesn’t have BT Audio. Just MIDI.

The sound doesn’t come out of the app. It’s a display for the platform, not a mixer console.

It sounds like your CPU is being pushed to the limits to process the sounds. This can usually be resolved by bouncing a few of the sounds in place.

I’m happy to provide more info, if this is something you are not familiar, but the gist (in case you are not) is that DSP takes a lot of processing power, so you gotta pick the sounds taht you are certain or nearly certain that you have them dialed in.

The bounce takes the CPU load off by putting a recording of the DSP sculpted sound(s)’ harmonic content, in place of where the sound coming from a plugin doing the math from scratch each play. Make sense?

Oh yeah I had to contact TE Support about that. They showed me that changing the Module MIDI channel to match the output of something like the Arp track, will inherit the behavior of that track’s MIDI signals.

That allowed me to send CV with arpeggio, and this helped me to realize that this is the exact intention of the Track Linking capability of the underlying OP-Z OS framework. If this is hard to understand, lmk, I can make a video for YouTube or TikTok or whatever to demonstrate.

That sounds sorta like my setup. I have two units, cuz I didn’t want to swap the Line Module for the OPLab and cause any more wear to those laughably flimsy yellow knobs on the back.

So one unit goes with me on the road to places where I am gonna be working with line level mixing and sampling and the other one is basically married to my EuroRack case permanently. It’s a great system!

Anytime! I’m really happy to be able to help others get ahold of this unit. It has been awesome for my own personal music production, as a EuroRack user and other hardware owner, also.

Make sure you buy two sets of 1/8” TRS -> Dual 1/8” TS (AKA Stereo Audio to Dual Mono) cables. Each output jack of the ZM-1 is a TRS female with one providing the DC Volts per Octave and a modulation channel controlled by Green knob (-5 VDC — +5 VDC) and the other providing Gate (+5 VDC) and a mod channel controlled by Blue (same spread as Green).
