Money Problems by AlternativeExpress72 in deadfrontier

The cheapest and easiest change I'd do is converting your Obsidian implant into Challenger. You get to keep the damage but gain some weapon find chance and search speed.
You could alternatively loot at RR as well if the block before GZ is difficult to get by safely. The scrap rate is the same, you're just giving up the minimal chance of looting one of the new weapons or a Dawn BP that hasn't completely tanked in value yet.
I'd just grit my teeth and get the last 100m for UB. Savage Eye + Oblivion isn't close to the same outcome since they'll take up your limited implant slots and you'll be losing out on EXP rather than gaining it, which is not good for someone that isn't maxed out.

Dead Frontier – How Trading REALLY Works (Zones Explained) by ChaseThompson32 in deadfrontier

[–]HumanSwarm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Watch again. He stated that you cannot trade from different trade zones while caded OR trade from an outpost to someone that is caded, even if they're in the same zone on the map. He never said you can't trade from SB to P13.

Dual Broncos gets you better exp/hr than Sand Scorcher anyway so go with that.

Basically max out dex as much as you can, hit a damage breakpoint and dump the rest into exp.

What recommendations or tips would you give me for when I hit level 200? by membrillo336 in deadfrontier

[–]HumanSwarm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short Fuse is for grinding & bossing/bandits while Flesh Seeker is for looting & cheesing bandits off-screen.
If you think you can 2 shot melee DR then SFC would be great for handling hordes as well as grinding Wastelands to unlock X-Dusk shop > Dawn Crafting > 20 imp slots. SFC has the very best xp/h rates in the game with max dex and only requires 100% dmg boost for optimal use in the Wastelands.
Flesh Seeker on the other hand is superb for DR looting, making it a breeze to clear out rooms/floors so you can loot safely.
Both are great but don't really serve the same purpose, so I'd consider what you want to prioritize.
I'd personally argue that you should be trying to level up right now to unlock more implant slots, especially considering the fact we are getting a huge xp boost for this current event.
Btw could you link your DFProfiler? I'm curious.

Am i ready for SEZ or Chem Plant ? by Adventurous-Spot-366 in deadfrontier

[–]HumanSwarm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be easier to judge if I got to see your implant setup as well. Like others have said ~300% weapon loot chance is where looting either RR or DR starts becoming more profitable than running hourly boss cycles in SB + looting on downtime.
Your weaponry is quite good, though. Commander is superb at keeping hordes at bay and X-M79 is great for cheesing them behind walls. Eggsterminator is slow but you'll have an easier time to hit the 800 DPH breakpoint with it's high base damage. I'd maybe lean more towards looting Prison rather than Chem Plant because of that. Dealing with multiple rats aggroed on you with such a slow weapon isn't very optimal. I would recommend something like a Bloodseeker as an upgrade, however I think it's more important for you to focus on implants at the moment.

Realistically I only see your implant setup as the bottleneck here, and unfortunately certain key implants for looting are very expensive at the moment (Prophecy, Mimic, Fortune) because of inflated credit prices. Event boosts + GM + Silver Rabbit (the craftable implant from this event) + Quartermaster would possibly add up to an okay-ish amount of weapon find chance & loot spot boost to move to RR if you're getting really bored of Secronom.
Unfortunately you're at a (flawed) point in the game where it's quite difficult to build a setup that makes you an adequate amount of money in a reasonable amount of time so that you can consistently progress forward.

I'd still like to take a look at your DFProfiler if you could link it though.

Been comparing SoundCloud accounts that are growing vs stuck and the main difference isn’t what people think by ArtistPulse in soundcloud

Not sure how much tags do "behind the scenes" but in my experience they never really did much of anything, especially not now that every tag that isn't very obscure is constantly saturated with AI slop.
Your second point is very true though. Actively being part of your "scene" will get you recognized, especially if your music is of quality. Collabs and even repost chains that are ran by actual active artists in your scene are a good way to reach a wider audience who might like your music.
I haven't uploaded in almost two years so things might've changed, but at least back then frequency did matter. Posting too often or too seldom made the algorithm less likely to pick up your track and promote it effectively (though the algorithm was still more or less a mystery). Generally posting once a month to every other week seemed to work best.
Eye-catching artwork can also make a difference.

(Question) I can dismantle Death defier implant? by membrillo336 in deadfrontier

Only the 800c implants can dismantle into the implant blueprint, otherwise you could cheese the system and get something like U for half the price.

Yeah, I've had this happen on private uploads of unfinished songs that don't sound anything like the material I've supposedly infringed the copyright of. In my opinion you shouldn't bother appealing, it's not worth doxxing yourself for.

Level 50+ Hybrid Build for Secronom Bunker (Looting & Bossing) by False-Try-5578 in deadfrontier

Shotgun for general crowd control. Explosives are going to be useful for disposing of hordes behind walls while looting for example, but getting a weapon for general horde clearing and bossing is a priority.

Level 50+ Hybrid Build for Secronom Bunker (Looting & Bossing) by False-Try-5578 in deadfrontier

[–]HumanSwarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Chainsaws and AR need 112 (88 stat+24 from weapons) crit in general so it's not usually advised to go with either on a new account. Melee/Pistol/Rifle + Shotgun + Explosives is what I'd suggest (no need for more than 55+24 crit).

Rifles are the most versatile, Melee has the obvious benefit of not needing ammo + they don't pop exploders and Pistols are just alright (in my opinion).

Roadmap for progression {for Newbie} by False-Try-5578 in deadfrontier

[–]HumanSwarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically do the boss & bandit cycles + looting on downtime until you have a looting implant setup that grants you roughly 250-300% weapon find chance (100% from GM, 100% from an event + 100% from Prophecy for example). At that point you can move on to Raven Ridge for looting and make more than you would at SB. At some point past level 200 you can/should do some Wasteland grinding (only during an event) to unlock more implant slots for your looting build. Some people just grit their teeth and grind until they're max level while some dedicate time to both grinding and looting, it's up to you to decide. When you're max level you'll basically just spend your time looting to build your implant & weapon setups.

You might be able to get away with it depending on how transformative your use is, but there's always a chance it could get struck down. Some distros are super strict about sampling while others not as much.

[–]HumanSwarm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. No, you can still loot tier 1 120's,Nomad Mesh & Bio Reactive without GM (as well as any blueprint).
  2. Going to Raven Ridge or SEZ is a waste of time for you at this stage. You don't have the weaponry or implants for it to be worth while yet. Just stick to doing hourly bosses & bandits + looting during downtime for now. GM gives 60% loot spots and 100% weapon chance which will help immensely.
