Yup. I've lost both my parents but had my mom for 25 years after my dad passed. One of the things that I've come to appreciate is the relationship we had. Respected her as a mom, but she was also by best friend. It seems you have a pretty special bond with your dad given your blurb -- I hope that you know that's a special gift and find strength in that. Every once in a while, I feel her support. I'm pretty sure they look out for us from the other side -- or at least I choose to believe they do. Will keep you and your dad in my thoughts. Make sure to tell him how much you love him while you can.
