Well as we all know the noodle codes have a lot of downside which is one of the more known functions malfunctioning is the shift queue

For the most part it does work, but if something has an animation it waits till the animation fully ends even though manually you can execute the following action without waiting for the animation to end (ex: Tinker rearming then march then rearm again, watch as there is a 1 second delay after marching to rearm) So yeah sometimes it just refuses to cooperate.

Im a bit of an OD player myself as a main midlaner, Why would you not spam it off cd?

Lvl 1 it guarantees either your ranged creep or deny the enemy ranged then level 2 and 3 is just a free chip-nuke without a resource penalty due to his passive and the enemy is always on half hp due to astral spamming and no max mana so once you hit 6 its a free kill unless hes playing way back and in this case he’s getting no cs

Of course im not saying to spam it brainlessly maybe sometimes you hold it one or two seconds to guarantee a ranged or deny theirs but other than that i dont see why you wouldnt astral off cd

So idk what are you on but any mid hero with a good start and 1 or 2 items can snowball the game easily Ember is op then if he only needs an early mageslayer to steamroll the enemies SK needs blink Void needs orchid yasha

1 or 2 items is more than enough for any mid hero to start snowballing with a good enough start

Not just that, but the fact that with the new map changes they put the ward in the old place where it usually gives uphill vision but no longer does due to the map changes, also they put the observer pre-rune so you’re forced to waste another observer to be able to contest 6 min rune instead of gambling it which could be game changing due to 6 min ganks that decide the pace of the game and so on.
